"We were alarmed when we pulled up to the property since the lawn didn't look like it had been mowed and the garbages were overflowing and torn up by rodents, there was a treehouse in the back that was boarded up with broken glass windows, the fire pit we were to use was completely rusted and collapsed rendering it useless. "The toilet smelled foul from the septic tank. The picture advertising the property is very misleading. There is no pier. The kitchen, bedsheets and carpet were clean. The view of the lake was nice."

"Out 2 families try to getaway to a cottage for some winter fun every year. Carson’s Cottage is an amazing locale with a picturesque lake within easy strolling distance (or easy viewing distance from the hot tub!). Can only imagine how lovely it must be in the other seasons!There were plenty of sledding locations around the property as well at a nearby location that the owner cued us in about.We ran into a few glitches with wifi and the bbq but the owner was easy to contact and very prompt to...

"Place was great. The only complaint we would have is that the lower level was quite chilly. An extra heat source down there in the winter would be good. It was a little chilly for the little ones. "

"We had such an excellent stay! House was clean and kitchen was fully equipped. Loved having access to the water and that kayaks, paddle board, and raft were available along with lifejacket for all. Enjoyed a campfire with provided firewood and lots of seating. Would definitely come back. "
