"The Hotel for the price you pay was ok. The bed was clean, however no mattress protection was laid down. The bathroom was also clean. The rest of the room as not as clean as i would have hoped and looked tired. The location however is excellent! Parking was suffient and only a 3min walk in the famous all creatures great and small area. "

"A gem of a BnB. From the warm friendly and welcoming greeting on arrival, through to the wonderful tasty breakfast in the morning. We only stayed one night, but were made to feel so at home. The rooms and amenities were lovely and clean, with well considered playful decor. The bed was also really comfortable. The full breakfast was a beast a bit much for us but you could pick what you wanted so we went with just bacon, sausage and eggs with toast. It was cooked perfectly and the ingredients...

"Clean room, lovely bar, nice range of drinks. Nice sunday dinner, great atmosphere, log fire bar. Breakfast was the usual cereals etc, bacon, toast, sausage was Richmond (not my preferred). Nice fresh croissants and goot drink selection I have stayed before and will stay again due to price, location, lovely romantic stay"

"We first stayed in Nov 24. This time we stayed Apr 26. Previously we were in the Annex, but this time we were in the main building. The room was large and nicely decorated. I booked two rooms as our adult daughter came too. Both rooms were cold even though the heating was on, but its an old building, so probably difficult to heat. "Nice, clean, small. Rooms and hallways very small. Imagine a hostel room with a nice bar and cafe. Very nice staff. Parking is wherever you can find it, expect a walk."

"Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here."
