"What a lovely stay! Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and a super comfortable bed!
The staff were all so friendly, happy and helpful, making us feel really welcome. The cosy, atmospheric bar and dining area was a lovely place to spend the evening, with fantastic food and a beautiful selection of wines and whiskies.
Breakfast was equally delicious, with the Eggs Benedict an absolute must!

"Over all happy with the stay. It's clean and tidy close to every thing. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Large towls were missing and the hair dryer but were bought to the room as soon as we asked for them. Excellent service. Two down falls. The shower. Large people might struggle to get in the shower as the door hing is 1/5 along the door so the door when opened doesn't hit the toilet. Second issue the road noise. "Good large clean airy room, comfy pillows, bed bit uncomfortable due to having 2 single bed bases so felt the wood in the middle so couldnt sleep next to my fiance, would benefit with a mattress topper, supplied tea coffee etc and restocked when asked, we had a great stay."Sharon

"It was a very windy day which exposed the lack of insulation and how the cold air got in.
The room was freezing, the heating cam on but for too short a time the room was already freezing and did not warm up. I had an air fan and an oil radiator on but the amount of cold air getting in did not mean the room could ever get cosy.
Which is a shame as the views were lovely and the bed was comfortable.
The shower was not very good it kept spitting very hot water that was too hot and temperature...Shane

"Overall it was fine but I very expensive for what we actually got. The room was fine but small and the bed was not the best apart from that it was fine. I paid £140 for the night and breakfast which was continental was another £25 for the two of us. Very expensive for a room above a pub."Steve

Clean.
Modern furniture.
Outstanding views.
Breakfast was excellent (possibly best fresh fruit collection I've seen at a hotel for a long time).
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The only minor gripe was the wifi in the room was poor. However not a big issue which could easily be solved with a wifi extender.

"The room was exceptionally clean and a good size also had a small kitchenette which was a nice touch, so if you fancy a drink before going out you can cook your wine. Good air con warm and cool. The staff were very attentive. Can’t fault anything and we would definitely stay again if we come to this area. Great value for money"simon

"These hotels need to stop lying about having parking. I use the filter to find the proper hotel to our needs, pay in advance only to find out I have to park on the street. Absurd. "

"It was too noisy: the wind howling off the sea and it sounded like a water tank filling for about 5 seconds every minute. It was also too bright and I couldn’t find a switch to turn off the hall light. Also, the TV remote control didn’t work."Sam
