I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience staying with us. You are the first person to mention the bed is squeaky and why did you not tell me I could have tightened it , being a metal frame I have done thus today and the bed is fine. The room is fairly small but we are a Victorian house and have no control over our sizes. I think it best you stay in a purpose built hotel. Sorry you did not come to me as I could have helped with your issues. Paul

I am sorry you had a bad stay with us, some customers damage items and we don’t always know immediately, the bathroom has already been fixed and shower unblocked. As Covid is still making people bad and a sign in the room we say if you want your room cleaned during your stay to just let us know and we would have happily refreshed your room for you. We had refuse strike in cardiff so apologies if the streets in cardiff were not good. Apologies again paul

At the time i was ISO of Covid and had someone looking after the place, I am so sorry you had a bad stay with us. I am sure with the issues they would have helped if you asked them. we have since attended to the items, bed tightened, soap holder was rubber seal gone, we now have standard anti bac soap. we are budget accommodation, price was when concert was to be here.

thank you for the review, we are back up to running properly again and all rooms, hallway and bathroom is cleaned daily (if not more) and maintained properly since coming out of the pandemic.

i know know your husband called in to drop off luggage just at start of checki in, the room wasnt ready, but we were told not to worry as coming back very late. Our housekeeper for some reason missed getting the room completed, We were very apologetic about it when you arrived and felt very embarrassed as had never done that before, we can only apologies again. We are a budget accommodation and you booked a room that had shared bathroom, it was only between a few rooms, so must have been unfortunate someone was in there. we do have en-suite rooms too. A piece of stair carpet had become loose, ( we are full every day so have a lot of traffic) It was noticed and fixed that morning. Apoloiges again that your stay with us wasn't good., We are a family place and all reviews are taken personally and saddens me when guests are not happy.

thank you for the review. you had the studio style room which has a kitchen within the room, the fridge was set on high for some reason so it will start up regularly, i have set the fridge to low as it is not used that much and will stop it cutting in too much. thank you

sorry our breakfast was not early enough for you to take it, we are a small family B&B with 7.30 am start breakfast in the week. If you stay in a small B&B again, might be worth checking on the start times as we know of a good few around the UK that start after 8.00am. thanks again.,

thank you for the review, a bit harsh i think as on checking yes a tiny bit of mold due to the warm weather and as a shared bathroom cannot keep immaculate at all times. We have attended to all the items you mention and apologies if you had your stay effected.
