Very well equipped house from the kitchen to beach chairs and umbrellas steps from the beach. Ryan is a fantastic host that was super accommodating and had outstanding communication.

Terrific week

We spent a very nice week on Captiva with our adult children. The property was clean and comfortable. We rented a power boat and were able to keep it at one of Sunset Captiva ā€˜s slips. The marina, next to Jensens, is a perfect spot across from Buck Key. Sunset Captiva is well located and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Weā€™ll be back!

The house was as advertised. The owner responded immediately when texted . We had a slight shower problem , it was fixed very quickly. The community pool was great and the beach very close by. I only wish the upstairs bedroom had lighting on both sides of the bed. It was a great house, in a nice community , on a beautiful island.

Week with 18-year-old granddaughters

We spent a wonderful week with our granddaughters in Sunset Captiva. The neighborhood was perfect--pool, beach, and friendly people. The house was comfortable and close to town.

Great Property - Responsive Host

This place was really great. It isnā€™t new but it is very comfy. The beds and furniture were great. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location is outstanding. We had an issue with one of the windows being open and couldnā€™t be closed. We reported to host and it was fixed within the hour. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall just ok for the price. Some issues included downstairs bathroom-showerhead dripped, toilet loose from floor, toilet seat loose. Hair dryer barely works. No fan or fan not workingDownstairs bedroom needs more lightingLiving room needs additional lightingInfo on laminate says recyclable on Wednesday and trash Thursday. When it was not picked up we found a duplicate info sheet in home that had been corrected to accurate date. So home was left with a completely trash can.

End of Summer getaway

Property was very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen had all of the cooking utensils we needed, bathrooms had plenty of towels and there were nice beach towels provided. Washer and drier were very nice and efficient. We brought our own beach toys, wagon and chairs but there were some of all of these provided too. My kids used one of the bikes (there were 2 but 1 had a low tire and we did not pump it up) to go back and forth to the beach path. The community pool was biggest hit with my grandson, clear and clean. Overall good location to both sides of the island and captiva businesses. Definitely would recommend.

Summer 24 vacay Captiva baby!

This is our second time staying at this home and we absolutely love the convenience, comfort and cleanliness. The host is amazing to communicate with and whenever there is a small issue, they are very attentive to get back in touch with us. Great Captiva Island house - perfect for our family of 5 -> loved the house and location. Plenty of room for all of us with 3 bedrooms + loft. Location is the best - 2 min walk to pool, 4 min to beach and walk to restaurants. And, the hosts were great. Thank you!

LOVE this house!

We had stayed in this house before with the previous owners. We were hoping it would be as good with the current owners and is was!!! Ryan was so awesome to work with. Answered all of our questions quickly and was so accommodating. We love this house and will be our go to when we stay. There are so many beach supplies and outdoor equipment. Magical Place :)

We are a group of 4 adulds and two girls (2+5 years old) and enjoyed every day!! We visit Captiva several times in sunset Captiva and this Place is really good in shape. The Island is still in reconstruction in several locations after the hurrican but Sunset Captiva area did a really good job. The sidewalks are new builded and the pool is joyful and even the plants are perfectly done. The owner Ryan replies fast on every question we had. The house was clean and had everything you need for a wonderful vacation. We will come back again!

Great Location For The Kids

We live ve Captiva and usually stay out of town a bit (near Tween Waters). But, this rental was perfect for our grandson and friends with food, shops, etc. close by. Also nice for the adultsā€¦ as short walk to the market and restaurants. Our host was very responsive to our needs.

We enjoyed our week at 57 Sandpiper. The house is spacious, beds are comfortable, and location is great with easy access to restaurants, the beautiful Captiva beach and pool, which was a good size for the community. Host (Ryan) was responsive to our requests. We would stay here again.

Sunset Captiva 57

We spent the week at house 57. The pros first- the house was perfectly clean- very appreciated. The beach wagon, chairs and umbrellas were great to have. The beds were quite comfortable and all appliances worked perfectly. The cons - the furnishings were sparse, uncomfortable and very old. The porch furniture was very very old and not inviting at all. Sitting out on an otherwise fine porch was just too uncomfortable for very long, due to poor chairs. The lighting in the family and bedrooms were very inadequate as was the upstairs bath lighting. The house was ok, overall. But we still had a fine week.

The community where the property is located is very nice. The property itself is very good but needs updating, especially dining room and living room furniture. Beach access was outstanding and the location in regards to restaurants and community center are outstanding.

Truly Paradise!

We loved this home, location and, of course, Captiva. This was our third vacation to Captiva/Sanibel and it never fails to be better than the last. The house was plenty big and comfortable for the 6 of us. The balcony off of the upstairs master bedroom was amazing. We sat up there at night and just enjoyed the stars and our nightcap. The community was friendly, especially the neighbors, Sue and Jim. It is close, with an easy walk to the beach. The pool is large and warm. The local store (we call it the little corner store) has everything you need at a reasonable price. Our host, Ryan, was incredible. His communication was continuous, quick responses, and great followup - plus a nice person to talk to. Overall we rate this place 5 stars plus, plus, plus. Thanks for a wonderful family vacation Ryan!

Great location on Captiva with space to unwind

This house is in a great location on Captiva. It is a short walk to all the key features of the island, including the Mucky Duck, the Island Store, Jensen's Marina. The available pool is very nice, and we enjoyed it frequently during our 2 weeks with another couple. A boardwalk leads you to the beach where shelling and watching the Osprey's is an all day thing. The house has plenty of room including a screened porch. The neighborhood is quiet and is well maintained. We had a great time and would go back.
