Lovely unit
We had a wonderful time. The unit is clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The photos are a little generous in terms of the space. There are some low ceilings and the layout is a little different than how the photos present, but you won't be disappointed. It's a great spot.

Lovely stay!!
Great little spot, can't get closer to the ocean/beach if you tried! We came during a stormy weekend and the water even hit the windows a few times during high tide. Very clean! Can walk to everything you need! They have lots of beach chairs and games and other supplies to use as well which was really nice. As everyone else said parking is awful to say the least, especially since the wharf is under construction. So be prepared to lug your things a ways. Definitely not handicap accessible either. If you are over 5' 10" you will hit your head in the bathroom/shower/entryway. Would definitely recommend!

Came to Capitola for a refresh.... Did not disappoint.. WEATHER was perfect.... location perfect.. morning coffee watching the beach wake up the for the day. Will surely come back and have been here several times before.

Great spot in terms of walkability being off the beach, property was really well kept but small for our family and kids on pull out couch. Lots people on beach linger around in front of the door on weekends but if out and about during the day then it’s not that big of a deal but got weird trying to come back. Overall it was good but we’d probably stay a bit further away from beach next time and walk instead

Anniversary Trip
My husband and I visited to celebrate our 20th anniversary and both of our 40th birthdays! We’ve loved the Venetian properties since the first time we saw them over 20 years ago. The Pink Venetian did not disappoint. Everything about our stay was perfect. The property had everything we could need (chairs, umbrellas, towels, beach games, etc). The only thing we’d add if possible was a kitchen sink, but it wasn’t a huge deal. We ate out for our meals anyhow. When we parked the car Thursday evening, we didn’t even get back in it until we checked out on Sunday. Everything we could need was just a short walk. We had the best time just relaxing and enjoying the beach. We’d definitely return!

Our family stayed the week in Capitola. Great location right on the beach. Very easy check in and plenty of space for the 4 of us! It was really helpful with them supplying beach chairs, umbrellas and games for the kids. The only thing is I have little ones so they are always on the floor playing and when we got there the floor could have been cleaner. There was sand ( which I get, we are on the beach) and then under the couch was quite dirty. They do supply a broom so definitely had to give it a good sweep before we unpacked. They support parking pass which is amazing but parking can be hard due to you finding parking on the street. But over all great stay and my kids had a blast. We went in June and had the best 90 degree weather.

The stay was ok. However, the bed was horrible. With two people on the bed, you just roll in the middle. I was glad I did not have to sleep in that bed more than two nights.

Steps from the beach
My friend and I loved this little studio right on the beach! It’s great to hear the splashing waves at night. Once you are parked there is no need for a car the rest of your stay as you are right on the beach and can walk to restaurants and shops.

Location!
Pros: Location Clean Location Cute Location Communication Have I mentioned location? Things to know before you go: This isn’t the place to sit inside and stare at the ocean. The windows are too high. That was ok with us because the weather was fantastic and we enjoyed the Adirondack chairs but if the weather was poor we could easily forget that we’re on the beach. As mentioned before, parking isn’t great. The closest spot we could find was on the Esplanade.

Awesome Location
This is a great place to stay if you want to be right on the beach, and very close to downtown shops and restaurants. The only reason I didn't rate at 5 stars is the parking situation. There is no on-site parking, and as such, you are "fighting" with tourists and locals to find a spot every time you use your vehicle. The city parking rules are complicated and annoying, and there isn't much signage on the actual streets. I ended up with a parking ticket. Not the property manager's fault, but it is a detractor from this amazing condo in an awesome location. One more small complaint: the pedestal sink in the bathroom is useless if you have ANYTHING to set down aside from a toothbrush (like contact lenses, etc.). Again, a minor complaint, and probably wouldn't prevent me from staying again! Overall, a super fun place to stay, and the Property Manager was VERY responsive, which helped greatly with all the parking nonsense.

Location is everything and this place was perfect. It has everything but a kitchen sink (really) Bed was comfortable, bathroom was small but functional. We felt completely at home here. Looking forward to coming again.

Our family had an amazing trip. You literally cannot get any closer to the beach. House was clean, had the amenities we needed, and check in / out was smooth. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Can’t Beat Being Beachfront
We had a great time during our stay. The place was perfect for our group of three (2 adults and 1 child). My son made friends with a boy staying at a neighboring property and they played on the sand until 8pm one night. We could relax in front of the unit, easily keeping an eye on them - that wouldn’t have been possible anywhere else.

Great for quick retreat and kids under 5
My favorite part of this trip was the ease of being at the beach with a young child and not have to worry about lugging around beach gear, snacks or having to find a bathroom. Everything is literally at your fingertips or super accessible. The unit itself was nicely decorated, very clean with a great high-end entertainment center. They offer coffee, a mini fridge , microwave and some plates which was awesome. It almost felt like we were in hotel suite vs a villa as there wasn’t a real kitchen but it worked great for our short visit. Like others who have stayed mentioned, the parking situation is not great. Yes, the parking pass helps but most of the street parking being taken up for additional outdoor seating, your closest spot is still a 5-10min walk. I wasn’t very comfortable being that far away from our car not just because of break ins but in case of an emergency and having to leave quickly. I even called the hotel next door to see if they offered a parking pass to be purchased there and they sadly said no. All that said, we had a wonderful time and I do recommend this anyone coming to capitola!

Capitola Beach Studio
This location is GREAT. Surprisingly quiet considering you’re right on the pathway to the beach. Make sure they send the parking permit approved locations PDF or search it online beforehand. Makes parking so much easier having that information! We finally got ahold of the property manager and she was able to tell us how to find the parking map online. This place is great for a couples retreat but it’s probably too small to comfortably fit a family or multiple couples. The TV was easy to operate and the place was pretty clean. We did notice lots of sand in place but that’s to be expected in a beach front rental. The only real negative I have to say about this place is that there is no kitchen sink. They do state in the binder inside the property that you are to clean your dishes before leaving. We felt weird snooping looking for dish soap and then having to wash it in the bathroom. Just keep that in mind if you plan on using any of their dish ware. They also ask you take out the trash but the trash can was pretty full (I assume from beach goers as it’s right outside the front door on the path to the beach). Go to Margaritaville for the best tacos! Its a super quick walk from the property and the patio is heated for those cool California coast nights!

A slice of paradise!!!
This was our kid’s first trip to the ocean. They are 1 & 2. What a dream!!! The beach was right there and was never overly packed. In the morning we basically had it to ourselves!! It was clean and exactly what we needed for the weekend. We cannot wait to come back!!!

Small But Mighty
Overall this house was great for what we needed. It is steps away from the beach which was mainly what I was looking for. Parking is really hard but they do include a parking pass which helped. It is more like a basement however as the unit is partially in ground. It was clean and had a lot of amenities, like shower and beach towels, beach games, beach chairs, small tables and basic kitchen utensils. Although there was a fridge, microwave, toaster and Keurig, I did wish there was a kitchen sink or even wash basin. Loved the automated shades on the windows and the fact that housekeeping takes care of washing towels and utensils so we got to fully enjoy our amazing getaway.

Valentine's Bliss
We had an amazing time at this gem of a beach house! We had a candle light dinner on the front patio on Valentines evening, ocean front, peaceful, just beautiful. The rental was very clean, and had everything we needed. The owner met us after we had arrived and was very kind and accommodating. We arrived 2 hours earlier than checkin, but Jody, our contact person allowed us to enter the home early!! Thank you Jody! We will definitely stay here again, the location was perfect.

Good location, nice beach toy collection
My wife, two young daughters and I recently stayed at the Pink Venetian. Arrival and departure were hectic/difficult due to the non-existent parking near the unit. We had to double park and leave an adult with the vehicle while the others were hauling stuff to and from the rental. It was convenient have a parking pass however the city of Capitola makes it very unclear where the pass will and will not work. We rolled the dice with numbered street parking spots and did not have an issue. Renters should look into Capitola parking maps/rules before arriving. After the parking is done, this location is great! My kids had a blast. The location is perfect and the included beach toys were an unexpected plus. Keep in mind the only sink in this unit is in the bathroom; limited kitchen capabilities but it's just enough. The windows helped keep things cool and the remote control shades provided adequate privacy. Be careful with the hide-a-bed sofa; it was just as uncomfortable as every other hide-a-bed sofa...bring a blow up mattress if you are sleeping more than 2 people.
