About the home

“Woolamai Waters Retreat” is a warm and comfortable single-storey family home in Cape Woolamai, designed to capture refreshing coastal breezes. Just a comfortable walk or short drive from the beach and close to the local supermarkets, restaurants, and cafés in Cape Woolamai, the home is also near surf beaches and scenic walking tracks. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

The lovely light-filled open-plan Kitchen/Dining/Living area (with 84" Smart TV, a selection of books and a Coonara heater (no wood provided) provides direct access to the covered Porch, creating an easy indoor–outdoor connection. A separate Family Room (with 50" smart TV) is a great second space for relaxation or games. A central hallway provides access to Bedroom 1, which features BIR and an Ensuite (with shower & toilet), as well as Bedrooms 2, 3, and 4 (each with BIR), which are serviced by the main Bathroom (with bath and shower), a separate Toilet and a fully equipped Laundry (with combo washing machine and clothes dryer) that also has external access.

Outdoor Areas

The rear Covered Porch (with gas BBQ & seating for 8 people) overlooks the fully enclosed outdoor and backyard areas that open from the main living spaces, perfect for family meals and weekend BBQs. There is plenty of lawn space for children to play, with trees adding shade and privacy. The Double Garage is not for guest use; however, there is parking space for two cars in the driveway.

Please note: The home has an external security camera (front doorbell) that does not face any internal private areas.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen, with an island bench, allows parents to cook while staying connected with the rest of the family and is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, a microwave, a toaster, and a kettle, along with a fridge, a dishwasher, an electric oven, and a cooktop.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There are two wall-mounted reverse cycle air conditioners in the home, one in each of the front Living room and the rear Family Room, which are sufficient to heat and cool all parts of the house.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 6 beds accommodating up to 8 guests:

Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: Two Single beds
Bedroom 4: One set of Single bunk beds

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
