"Lady at the desk refused my reservation saying she told them she wasn't doing the online reservations anymore. repeatedly. Stayed anyways as I needed a room. Room smelled a little odd, not bad, but something scented for cleaning? and towels and toilet paper were low grade and no shampoo or conditioner, just a single soap bar in the bathroom."

"This was our 5th year staying at Island Breeze. The owner and the staff are always super helpful. We love how clean the rooms and the pool are. Our dogs Lou and Sammi love staying there too. We'll be coming back soon."

"Perfect location. The rooms were a good size and bed was comfy. The bathroom was OK it could have been cleaner but I always bring my own disinfectant anyway. I would definitely go back."

"Room was super cute and comfy and the property was conveniently located and very dog friendly. I also loved that they had beach chairs and an umbrella and bikes for us to use! We had a great little vacation!!"

"I like the property location and access to beach and walkway. The staff was very nice. I didn’t like the variation in the rooms described as queen suites. I booked 2 queen suites, 1 for 1 night, the other for 2 nights. To my dismay the suite for one night was larger and cheaper and I was unable to switch the rooms. Also, the parking spaces are very tight, so beware."

"The staff was friendly and responded quickly to text messages. The location is close to the beach in Cape May. We visited Wildwood beach and also made the 35 min drive to Atlantic City during our trip. The Villa was advertised as luxury and that was a stretch. We did our own cleaning prior to settling in. There are rust stains in the freezer and refrigerator. The toilet and sink didn't look clean and we found several long straight black hairs all around the villa, as well as attached to clean...

"We were extremely impressed . The refrigerator was not working and a new refrigerator was delivered to our rom immediately. It was a cold, rainy weekend and the cable went out and that too was restored within a few hours along with other motels in the area. Our stay from check in to checkout the entire staff was friendly and attentive. Far exceeded our expectation with the cleanliness and attentive staff."

"The rooms are really nice and clean comfortable beds. Loungers and towels and umbrellas are available at no extra charge at the beach. They are set up for you by the beach staff. Free parking. The Star Beach restaurant is a fun place to grab a quick bite on the beach. The pool is clean and well maintained. The only thing that I would like to mention is about the beach huts located next to the Star Beach restaurant. They are looking tired and could use a little updating. This was my second time...

"This place was great. The staff was very nice, room was clean, and there was even a spot to cookout on the property close to the pool. Only a block away from the boardwalk. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Jolly Roger was one of the better motels I experienced while visiting Wildwood. Check-in was quick and simple. The only issue I had is the person checking me in did not hand me my ID in my hand when she gave me back my ID. I handed her my ID hand to hand and I expected the same in return. Other than that, I did not have any major issues. The room was mostly clean except black stains on the walls. It looked like maybe kids have been touching the walls overtime and a few swipes of a magic eraser...

"The first thing that I’d say is that the ENTIRE staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Secondly, I’ve been there a few times and it’s always been clean. Lastly we’ve always like it because it’s such a relaxed environment especially by the pool."
