Great stay

We needed to find one night in Cape May to attend a local sporting event and were thrilled to find this little gem when all of the other properties had minimum stays of multiple nights.

Clean spacious room, and just across the street from the beach. Every room has a patio/balcony facing the pool which is very nice. Lots of dining choices around or within walking distance of the property.

This was a great location. A short walk to all the happenings around Washington Mall. Beach was directly across the street. The Promenade ends right across the street and continues for 1.5 miles south to sunset beach, so it was great for a 3 mile run. The pool was clean and refreshing. Great to have an outside shower to clean off the sand. We did have a bug issue. Soon as we came into the room, I saw an ant under the wash cloth at the sink. The next morning there were 5 flying ants in the tub (alive). The next morning double that. Unsure where they were coming from. Just glad they weren't in our sleeping area. Mgmt sent the property mgr up, but I had already killed them and we were checking out that morning.

Overall stay was okay. Location is nice. Could use some updates. Elevator was down our entire stay which was 2 nights and 3 days and we were on the 3rd floor. Not a big deal for us but maybe for others

Very clean, great location. Everything looked new and fresh and the location is perfect for a walk to the Washington Avenue mall. So many places to stop on the way, but best of all right across from the beach. Cant beat that. Well definitely be back again.

Charming boutique hotel in Cape May

Very clean, well maintained hotel. Staff was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and things to do. The hotel's location right across from the beach couldn't be more perfect.

Perfect location!

Perfect location across from the beach. Quiet area and a quick walk downtown. Room was very clean with quiet and precise air conditioner. The inn was unique and cater to guest needs.

Comfortable, clean and convenient

I needed accommodation for one night to extend my stay in Cape May and was able to reserve a room here. It exceeded my expectations - staff was courteous, friendly and helpful; check-in was easy and quick (I was upgraded automatically due to a temporary issue in original room); one-bedroom suite was attractive and clean with a kitchenette that was equipped with everything I needed. Right across the street from the beach with dedicated parking. I will definitely stay there again.

Short stay

We were in town for a wedding and came in the morning of the wedding and left the next morning. Our early check in request was accommodated so we could change and get ready for the wedding we attended. The staff was welcoming, kind and even called us on our way down to let us know a room was available. The place is adorable and I wish we stayed longer to enjoy the pool and beach. It was our first trip to Cape May but we will be back!

Nice hotel but not the best place for families.

Pros: Hotel was clean, pool heated, directly across from beach. Cons: Some type of family/friends reunion occurred during our stay. This group of what appeared to white trash had many rooms occupied all around the outdoor recreation area. They were drinking, smoking, doing drugs, loud music, cursing and being very inconsiderate of children and families staying there too. I thought the manager on duty was going to rectify the situation until she sat down with them and started looking at pictures of their phone and chatting! She obviously knew them or was related to them and basically enabled their behavior to continue. A real shame as itā€™s an otherwise nice, affordable hotel on the Cape May beach. We couldnā€™t even use our balcony, open the sliding doors, or enjoy pool with our children while they were out there which was most of the day and night. Hopefully the owners will reevaluate their staffing choices to avoid a recurrence of such shameful and deplorable behavior. Suggest the hotel also not allow smoking on the property as well to improve the family vacation experience.

Perfect!

I loved this property! It has so much character. Friendly staff; clean; amazing location; warm pool; courtyard games; and live music. I prefer smaller hotels/resorts not owned by large companies/chains- if your looking for high end luxury then this may not be for you. Itā€™s a family friendly, non-pretentious, beachfrontā€¦and I canā€™t wait to go back.
