This Florida-style villa (renovated in 2023) is located in the southern part of Cape Coral (Rose Garden Area) on the popular Britannia Lake. Enjoy the lake views from the large terrace. Its west-facing orientation guarantees breathtaking sunsets. The tastefully furnished house offers a large, bright living area with an open-plan kitchenette and five inviting bedrooms. The living area features a large flat-screen TV, DVD player, stereo system, and Wi-Fi internet access (the master bedroom also has a TV). However, you'll likely spend most of your time on the insect-screened terrace. Swim in the large, heat-pump-heated pool with an additional hot tub while listening to the rustling of the palm trees. Finally, you can enjoy your meals outdoors in the sunshine! A very helpful and friendly management team is at your service. A large American Weber grill awaits you on the terrace – a must-have for any barbecue enthusiast! Passionate anglers will appreciate the abundance of fish in this freshwater lake with its gulf access via canals. You can fish for tropical fish without ever leaving your holiday home. Of course, you can also simply relax and enjoy the sunset while watching the dolphins and manatees. (Please note that a fixed amount of USD 50.00/week for electricity usage is included in the rental rate; additional consumption will be charged at USD 0.15/kWh after departure.)

We had such a wonderful time at this home. So wonderful, I did not want to leave. There were 10 of us staying and the layout of the bedrooms were perfect. Almost as if there are 3 suites. The first night we arrived there was a manatee sleeping at the dock. The manatees visited us the first three days with their little baby. We had dolphins swim by one day too. The kids loved fishing from the pier and even cooked up their catch on the grill. The screen enclosed pool area was just perfect with a lanai for those who wanted to join in the fun but skip the sun. This was great for my mom who was there to celebrate her 80th birthday. She loved being part of the action watching her grandkids, and great grandkids swim and fish. The lake views from this home are stunning. My favorite vacation spot yet. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We only wish it were ours.

This is a beautiful, spacious home in a lovely neighborhood. Our group of five women found it just perfect. The kitchen is well-equipped and there are two coffeemakers. Chairs, towels, a cooler, and umbrellas made our beach days perfect. The beaches are a bit of a drive, though, if you don’t have a boat. We enjoyed some of our days overlooking the lake as we lounged by the pool and loved having breakfast on the patio. We were pleased to have the property manager drop by and help us with a few questions about the TV, spa and sound system.

We really enjoyed our time here. A few highlights of the house for us include - the pool area, plenty of space to spread out, great location, and the burrowing owls in the front yard! The house had everything we needed and we returned home feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Wonderful!

This home was great for my siblings and spouses as we celebrated our parents’ 70th anniversary. The one-floor living was perfect for them and the opportunity to fish right at the house was so nice for our dad. We even saw dolphins in the lake. The house was just as described.

We had a great time on our stay at this house and Cape Coral! Love the location to Rotary Park, restaurants, stores, and an easy drive to Punta Gorda and Fort Myers beach. We would absolutely stay here again. There were an overflow of towels to use, loved the large outdoor patio and room sizes.The only issue we had was the pool was a bit cold the first few days. The house manager was very quick to respond to help fix the pool temp. I would recommended the temp be checked prior to visiting next time is all. The spa was always warm and we filled it! Great time had by all of us!There

Wonderful week! Wonderful house!

The perfect vacation home for old friends to meet & relax! It was a “girl’s trip” for a group of 5 ladies that have known each other for over 50 years! Perfect weather added to a wonderful week had by all…catching up, laughing & relaxing! Heike, the host, was most accommodating with all my questions & inquiries prior to our arrival … thank you for your patience & promptness in answering ALL MY questions & working with me! The house & pool were the highlights…relaxing, beautiful & great layout. Just as described & pictured on the site. My only comment, ( no real biggie-more of an FYI) would be the empty hand soap containers in all the bathrooms & no dish/dishwasher soaps to start for the first couple days. Just had to make a grocery delivery sooner than originally expected. House was well furnished with towels, linens & other essentials that one cannot pack when traveling by plane! Great neighborhood, beautiful views of Lake Britannia…again, pictures are accurate! Easy check-in & directions to the home from the airport. Met with house manager, Chris, the next morning after arrival which was nice to answer any questions we may have encountered after our first night. He was very pleasant, friendly & accommodating! Our group was unanimous about the wonderful accommodations & would consider renting again! Amazing pool and view!

The house is spacious and very clean. But the pool and backyard view made the week. Very clean pool and awesome heated spa. Amazing sunsets! So relaxing! Missing it already.

Beautiful place

What a great house and beautiful neighborhood! I planned this trip very last minute (about 2 weeks out), and was able to find this amazing place. There is a lot of reconstruction in the area due to Ian, and I would love to go back once that is all done. It’s heartbreaking to see all the damage in the area. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you for sharing your home with us for the week.

Wonderful vacation

We had such a wonderful vacation at this beautiful place. The house is huge, clean, nicely decorated, well stocked. The location is perfect - on a lake offering amazing views. All of us (age 10 to 80+) enjoyed the stay so much and we didn't want to leave. The owner is a very kind person. Highly recommend!
