"The check in was easy, the house was clean and comfortable and in a convenient location. The electric fireplace was great for warming up after a cold walk on the beach. One thing to note if you are bringing dogs is that when you arrive, there is a sign asking you to try not to leave your dog unattended in the house and the info book says not to let your dogs on the furniture. Both are typically listed on the property description and would have been good to know before booking. "

"The Velvet Crab was just as pictured. What a haven. We wanted to do some different exploring on the Cape, since it's been a few years, but it was really hard to leave this sanctuary. We'd go out for a few hours and then couldn't wait to come back and just hang out. Loved the kayak, being on the pond, just everything. We'd love to come back. Tara and her people were very responsive, and we appreciated them letting us check in a few hours early. "

Comfy beach chairs. I simply loved it. Pleasantly euro and spotlessly clean. Another little blanket for sitting on the couch would be nice. Plenty of Capey things to do plus food stores nearly. The unit was cheerful and comfortable for three adults and the kitchen was well equipped for the light meals we had there (note to host: need a couple of potholders and some hooks or towel bars in the bathrooms). "Kitchen could use a k cup coffee maker and large frying pan. Light bulb on microwave was out. Clock on stove was broken and the stove said hot surface even when it was never turned. Upstairs toilet kept running. Basement carpet had some stains. All just minor things that need attention. Overall really loved the place. Hope to come back next year!"

"My husband and I had a great weekend stay! The location was perfect. We walked to a coffee shop for breakfast and then took our bikes down the beautiful Shining Sea Trail to Woods Hole for the day. We did not need to drive at all. Listing was accurate, and check in was easy. Shared bathroom was well managed. The hosts were very kind and made sure we had everything we needed."
