The Montview Cottage with Private Hot Tub & King Bed

At the cottage you will enjoy the comfort of a 550 square foot house nestled on our 12 acre Hill Country Retreat. The cottage offers a king size bed, full kitchen, satellite with 26' flat screen TV, WI-FI, private hot tub, gas grill, and large back deck complete with a hammock.

This cottage is flush with architectural details. Warm refinished hardwood floors spread throughout the cottage. All interior doors are original, complete with crystal door knobs, pewter hinges and locks. The bathroom contains a pedestal sink and completely retiled shower accented with slate and glass tile. The kitchen is outfitted with electric range and cook top, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator and cupboards stocked with pots, pans and all necessary utensils. The cabinet doors are punctuated with Flemish glass and the back splash and bar are accented with slate tile.

Get away

It was very pleasant! We saw several deer. It is just far enough off the road and from the highway that it isn’t loud but a quick trip to the store. The living room could use a small recliner or a smaller loveseat in addition to the couch. But only a suggestion. We faired fine without, my husband and I like to lay down to watch tv. Will stay again!

Love the little cottage!

We came to spend our 20th Anniversary here and loved every moment! It was close to all the places we wanted to see and do wish we could have spent one more day actually! Loved having a spa in the back to go and relax in was so nice! We will definitely recommend to all our friends and family! Can't wait to stay again soon!

This is a cute little house. It was clean, although we couldn’t shake the ants getting in the house looking for water. We’re in the middle of a drought. It wasn’t as secluded as we thought it was. But hey, it was solid, safe, and good for our stay.

Perfect for my little retreat ❤️

The cottage was absolutely perfect. I was looking to get away for 4 or 5 days, somewhere somewhat remote, but close enough to town (and not too secluded since this was my first solo travel experience). I could not have found a better place - clean, quiet, stocked with all the necessities, comfy bed/couch & perfect backyard- I spent most of my time enjoying the hot tub😀 I'll probably be back again next year.

Amazing House

From booking untill we walked in...everything was spot on. This house is a Diamond in the Rough...so cute and very spacious. Everything was there that you could possible need or want. The hot tub with the lights in the trees was so nice..after a long day of site seeing. Thank you again so much we will be back.

Amazing and romantic cottage for two.

Great location to canyon lake. Fantastic outdoor space. Great communication with Justin. The string lights went out above the hot tub due to ants and he replaced immediately. WiFi was weak is the only real issue. Highly recommend this place! Thank you Justin!

Perfect Getaway

The cabin was so cute and had everything we needed for a quiet getaway. The back patio and hot tub were a perfect way to relax and unwind. The cabin is centrally located, so it was easy to get to all of the fun areas within 15-30 minutes. Our host was quick to respond and made the entire experience easy. We highly recommend the Montview Cabin and we will be returning in the future .

Very secluded and private. Enjoyed the privacy of the hot tub. Sitting on the patio was so relaxing. Place was clean and felt like home. We enjoyed the scenery and liked that we were close to restaurants and shopping. It’s a good getaway place for couples.

Although unfortunately it almost rained the whole time we were there, it was so nice to have such a secluded property for us to unwind at!
