The Aoudad Cabin at Palo Duro

The Aoudad Cabin is a family-friendly, one-bedroom, one-bath cabin rental with a sleeping loft that can accommodate up to six people.

It is furnished with a queen-sized bed in the bedroom, a futon couch that folds out into a full-sized bed in the living room, and twin mattresses in the sleeping loft. It also has a sofa and Roku TV.

There is a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet, a kitchenette with a fridge, sink, microwave, and coffeemaker, and an outdoor deck with a gas grill. It has ample A/C and heating units.

Enjoy the spacious deck for grilling or stargazing.

Aoudad Cabin

Aoudad Cabin was such a perfect for my husband and myself and our two grandsons, one 12 yrs old and the other 15. The loft was perfect for them albeit the 15 yr old is 6'3". He just crawled into the bed. We enjoyed seeing the longhorn cattle from the deck. The location is very convenient to Palo Duro Canyon entrance and was especially nice when the "Texas" musical was over and we were able to quickly get to our room for the night.

The cabin was very roomy, furnished nicely and was very comfortable. Location was excellent. Could have been a little cleaner and the Cedar trees blocked the early morning sunrise. We enjoyed our stay, especially the Longhorns bedding down each night just outside the fence.

The property wasnā€™t perfectly located to quickly run down to Palo Duro Canyon as well as a local horse tour business. It was exactly has described and so charming with all the lawn games on site. We had a wonderful view from our deck and even had some longhorn cattle who visited us at night! We will be returning!

Lovely scenery! Friendly owners. Cabin had all we needed for our stay. Our only negative on our stay was out the front door overlooking the pasture in front of the porch is alot of building debris from a fallen out building. It would have been a much prettier view without it there. We did find some dirty laundry inside the couch fold out bed and some personal hygiene products upstairs in the loft. We left those items where they were found.

Red birds and bulls!

The cabin was rustic yet modern. We had some beautiful Stormy weather while we were there. We love the isolation back at the back of the property. The patio was overlooking the field with a longhorn cattle. We had a few red birds come and visit. The furnishings were nice and the bed was comfortable. We loved the big soft blue towels! The coffee and snacks were a plus.

Wonderful trip to Palo Duro

We had an amazing trip to Palo Duro canyon. The cabin is less than 2 miles from the park entrance and very convenient. It's a quiet area and we enjoyed our nightly visits from the longhorns and aoudad sheep who grazed just on the other side of the fence from our porch.

The perfect getaway

This property couldnā€™t have been better in my opinion. My daughter loved the loft, my dad slept on the futon, and my husband and I took the bed. Plenty of blankets and towels, the host was great with communication and made checkin a breeze. Absolutely pleased with our stay and highly recommend. Youā€™re located very close to the canyon and just a short drive from town, very quiet property and really enjoyed watching the sunrise from our deck every morning.

Love this cabin

The Apudad cabin was a wonderful place to stay. It was isolated enough yet near people. We enjoyed the porch every morning and every evening. Our ā€œneighborsā€ were longhorn cattle and kittens. Palo Duro Canyon is only 1.5 miles from the cabin and a beautiful place to visit.

Perfect spot to access Palo Duro Canyon

The cabin was perfect for my small family of 3. The loft was a good spot for my 19 year old son. The kitchen & grill were perfect for us to bring food to prepare as I knew ahead that there was a microwave, fridge & grill. Beautiful views from the deck of Canyon in the distance a mile away. I liked the owners laid back attitude about us not having to take out trash before we left. Most places these days charge a lot & expect you to do so much. I did leave the kitchen as we found it except for taking the trash out! The people before us must have failed to clean the coffee pot so that was unfortunate to have to do that before making our morning coffee. No big deal and everything else was great!
