LIVING AREAS:

The apartment benefits from a large open-plan living space equipped with comfortable sofas, a 43-inch SMART TV with Netflix and plenty of space to sit down and relax in the evening after a long day at work. Please note that the lounge is in the basement and there is no handrail on the stairs going down.



DINING AREAS:

The dining table seats up to 6 people and is ideal for a sit-down meal in the evening.



KITCHEN/COOKING FACILITIES:

The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials needed to cook your favourite meals whilst in Canterbury. There is an electric hob, oven, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster & washing machine.



BATHROOMS/TOILETS:

There are 2 bathrooms at the property. One is equipped with a toilet, sink, whirlpool bath and shower. The other is a shower room with a shower cubicle, sink and toilet.



FAMILY FEATURES:

We have a travel cot with mattress for your use - please bring sheets as these are not provided. There is a large lounge with games.

The Neighborhood:

Dover Street is just outside the city walls and a stone's throw from numerous restaurants, bars and shops.



We are a few minutes walk from Canterbury town centre and the various sights of Canterbury including the Cathedral, Westgate Gardens and the cobbled high street!



Getting Around:

Canterbury is compact and therefore everything is just a short walk away.



Parking - there is a car park opposite the house is called Holman’s meadow and costs £1.80/hour with a maximum daily charge of £10 (7:30am to 9pm). From 9pm to 7:30am there is a £2 overnight charge.



Other Things to Note:

🏡 RULES:



No Parties: This property is strictly not suitable for parties. Breaching this rule will result in immediate removal from the property without a refund, and your deposit may be used to cover any extra costs incurred. Please note, this house is in a quiet residential area, and quiet hours after 9pm must be respected.



No Smoking Indoors: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. A standard charge of £500 will be applied to your card if evidence of smoking is found, to cover deep cleaning and any resulting damage.



🚗 PARKING:



Parking in Canterbury is very expensive; unfortunately, there are no free parking spots in the centre. We can organise an on-street parking permit for £9 per night. The permit spots are on Dover Street, directly in front of the property, and this permit can be added on the check-in form, sent after booking.



The permit is valid from 15 mins before check-in until 15 mins after check-out.



🛁 Long Stay Cleaning Policy:



For stays longer than 14 nights, we require a clean to be booked every 14 nights thereafter, at the cost of the guest. During these cleans, the entire property will be refreshed, consumables restocked, and linens and towels changed. Please contact us for further discounts when booking long stays.



👶 Travel Cot:



The travel cot does not come with linen.
