This cheery, dog-friendly cottage in Cannon Beach offers a prime location with easy beach access and walking distance to town. This rental is one of six quaint units in the Hidden Villa Cottages centered around a charming common courtyard area featuring a bubbling brook.

Tucked away in a quiet residential community in mid-town Cannon Beach, this rental is about a block from the sandy beach for beachcombing and kite flying and Haystack Rock for tide pooling. The town's bustling business district is a short walk away for antique shops, upscale boutiques, local pubs, and other eateries. Other activities include hiking and whale watching.

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The location was very good. The room was clean. The advertised futon was lumpy and had no blankets so my adult son had very little sleep.

2nd time staring at this place. First time I stayed was back in October and I shared that the place wasn’t as clean. They listened and the place was clean. Minutes from the beach and downtown for the price makes it well worth the stay. Will book again!

The cottage was very cute and had few updates but the furniture and appliances were dirty. Coffee pot had dried up coffee in the bottom. And there were small black ants left dead under the kitchen sink and a few living ants walking the countertop and in the bathroom. There was also dog hair and cob webs found throughout and the spare sheets were crumpled up in a drawer and seemed like they were not clean. Too bad because if it had been cleaner it would have been a great stay.

Convenient location, couple minutes to the beach and a few minutes to town it was perfect. They definitely need to take more care in cleaning the place. Regardless the sheets were clean and plenty of fresh towels.

When we went to climb in bed, we saw there were marks that looked like it had been wet and it dried. We texted Vacasa and for almost two hours they said someone locale would take care of the bedding. At ten minutes to 11:00 pm we were told that they would take care of the issue tomorrow. They never did. We put a blanket over the top of the bed and used a sheet to cover up with for both nights.

Wonderful location, but cottage could use some TLC. The cottage was musty, there was mold in the bathroom, and the futon is incredibly uncomfortable.

It was a good stay and a nice quiet location. Just could use some updates/repairs. The code didn't work when we arrived after 10pm and it was freezing outside. Thank goodness the management company was available to get us in.

The place is lovely if a bit beaten up. The part that soured our trip was the infestation of ants in the kitchen. We could not keep any food or anything in the kitchen without ants covering the counter and anything on it. Really disappointed in the property for this reason

home is in need of maintenance and new flooring. No laundry facilities even though listing at the time of our rental stated it did. Laminate flooring damaged; electrical problems; ants; dirty shower and bathroom flooring; and only table had broken loose legs. Futon is worn and was torn in several places. The only plus was the location to beach. It was also quiet which we did appreciate. Loved Cannon Beach, will look somewhere else for our next visit.

This VRBO was fine if you don’t want to be in the house at all. It could have been seriously cute and cozy, but nobody has cared about this place in a long time. The lawn is covered in dog poop, vines are growing through gutters, and when we arrived there was no parking—to which we were told “there should be parking”… Inside, it was probably once adorable but now is full of uncomfortable furniture and had a slap of paint on it to make it acceptable. There were dead bugs smeared on the wall and the shower head was broken. They did fix the shower but didn’t clean off the bugs. The window was broken, much like the water feature outside. There wasn’t even a real door knob on the bathroom door. If you want to have a comfortable place to hang out, don’t stay here. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep, it was fine although still not worth how much we paid.

Very cute and clean property, and a nice location - very close to everything but still quiet. It's perfect size for 1-2 people without feeling squished.
