New owners have taken over hotel just over 2 mths ago and we found them to be very friendly, welcoming and hard working. "This is a unique little inn in the middle of the country. It was a fun stay, even though we only stayed overnight as we were traveling from Scotland highlands to London. The beds were fine, not spectacular. The bathrooms were clean and the shower pressure was amazing! The only thing I have to complain about is that the staff opened the windows and even though we shut them right away, I was still bitten up by midgies all night."

"The hotel was on the main street with shops and pubs all in walking distance. We were able to eat and drink at the Red Dragon. The only drawback was no on site parking so the car had to be left about 10 minutes walk away. This was the only issue the rest was great."
