Perfect getaway

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect cabin stay. The interior was sparkling clean for the rainy nights in and we had an absolute blast on the kayaks and being in nature. We already planned a couples trip here with friends and cannot wait to stay again!

We loved our stay at Moonshine manor. The beds were nice. The kitchen area had all we needed and the hosts were very responsive. We loved the hot tub and the fireplace. Great place to stay for all your hiking needs.

Relaxing stay close to great hiking!

My family of 3 and our dog truly enjoyed our stay! We loved having an extremely private location all while having fun amenities and being within 20 minutes of excellent hiking! We visited nearby Slade to get our fill of cool shops, amazing views and hikes then were able to totally disconnect at the cabin as a family. We cooked dinners over the fire, relaxed in the hottub and fished at Lake Campton on the quiet access road. Such a fun few days!

Kentucky sweet spot

Adorable 2 bedroom cabin with an additional loft for sleeping. The beds were beyond comfortable after a day of adventure in the Red River Gorge! We loved cooking on the black stone and over the fire. The deck and hot tub were a perfect place to wind down. We had a great stay and the hosts were quick to respond.

Great stay at Moonshine Manor!!!

The property was clean and well kept. The couple of issues we had were promptly addressed with maintenance being sent out same day to take care of them. It was in a beautiful area that was very private and had easy lake access just down the road and you can use the golf cart to get there. All in all, we had a great stay and would definitely go back.

Great getaway

My wife and I, plus our 2 year old daughter stayed 2 nights here and it was great! Adam is a fantastic host, and is extremely responsive. We had a lot of fun in the kayaks, driving the golf cart down to the lake, hanging out on the deck, and cooking meals over the fire. This is a fantastic little getaway spot! Very quiet and peaceful, yet you can be in the town of Campton in a few minutes. We found all of the seating and bedding areas to be very comfortable and the bedding is all very soft! We also really enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking!

A very peaceful and relaxing stay.

We had a great stay. The property was very clean, private, and peaceful, which made it perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. I went with my fiancé and two of our friends, and we all really enjoyed our time there. It was exactly what we needed, getting away from everything and just slowing down to enjoy each other’s company. The space felt comfortable and quiet, and everything matched the listing well. Overall, it was a very positive experience. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for the time away together. We would definitely come back and stay again in the future.

Great escape

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. We did have some issues related to an ice storm that were out of the owner's control, but overall, it was still amazing. There are other nearby residences, but you can't see them from the cabin. The hot tub overlooks the woods and pond. They even provide extra towels for the hot tub.

We loved this getaway. The deck is amazing. Hottub wonderful. Enough space for family of 4. My son could have even took a friend. Two beds in loft. We would love to visit again in summer or fall.

A nice fall retreat

Really enjoyed our stay for a few days with my family. Beautiful place. The drive up wasn’t difficult. It’s a smaller cabin, but plenty of room for my family of 4 and our dog. The dog bed was a nice touch. It was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We spent most of our time hiking RRG, which was a very manageable 20 minute drive to whichever trail we chose, but the time spent at the cabin was nice. We utilized the blackstone for breakfast on the deck with morning coffee, and relaxed in the hot tub after a long day. We would return for sure!

Darling cabin!

We absolutely loved Moonshine Manor! While small, the cabin is plenty roomy on the inside. It rained hard for most of our stay so we spent a LOT of time inside and never felt cramped, just cozy. Our dog even seemed to enjoy the provided dog bed more than his own! While there were just two of us, this would be an absolutely PERFECT place for a girl's or guy's weekend get-together for four people -- each person could have their own bed (sleeps up to six), plenty of room at the table for everyone to eat, play games and/or work online, huge lounging/bar area outside with a big hot tub and cute firepit area for evening chats. It would also be great for someone needing to get away and get a lot of work done -- great internet service. This is a tiny cabin, but it's very thoughtfully furnished and we were totally comfy. (FYI there's no standard oven, only a microwave and stove, so plan groceries accordingly)
