We saw eagles, osprey, minke whales, seals (both harbour and grey types) as well as dozens of songbirds, etc right from the back deck and property. We even got to see a cruise ship pass by the house as it left port in Maine. The owner is beyond responsive. There was an issue with the back door lock and within hours it was fixed! "We were blessed to snap up a last minute cancelation at Whale of a View cottage. It was our first time staying on Campobello and we were not disappointed. "If you want peace and quiet, along with an over the top spectacular view, this is the perfect place! So enjoyable to sit back and watch the tide move in and out, observe eagles and gulls and keep an eye out for porpoises, whales, and otters. The cottage is comfortable, and full of interesting collectables, art and books about the region. Dennis was a fantastic host - very helpful and responsive to any question or need. It was such an enjoyable stay - I can't wait to get back!"

"We had a really great time at the Donovan residence and in St Andrew’s. The house was very clean, comfortable with lots of gracious space and views and it was in a great location for getting everywhere and there were many activities around to entertain our 15 month old.
