"This was an amazing mini vacation, the cabin had everything we needed for two samll families! Check in was easy and the host was very attentive and responsive."

"It seems in the past it might used to the be good, looking at the infra. We arrived and there was no one at the check in - it was closed. Thee was a nunber to be called, but no one answered. Finally, I found an on-site worker who knew someone ( not the person at the sign ) that could help me. A very nice old lady who did hsr best but could barely find the key. Finally, having found the key, we went to the room. Besides the bed, that was nice, everything else was serioulsy dirty, I mean, DIRTY....

"This property is absolutely beautiful. The river runs just below the area and the sound of the water is so nice and calming. They have coffee for the mornings which i truly appreciated! 2 seperate buildings for bathrooms and a separate space with showers (partially outside, rock floors and open roof! Also access to the river with steps made of large rocks. Everyone was helpful and friendly. "

"We really enjoyed the property and closeness to the entrance of the park. Communication with the owners was always great. The beds and pillows were very comfortable which we appreciated a lot! If I have to say it could be improved would be maybe add a couple of extra non-stick pans. Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your property. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed the property and it was a short distance to Sequoia Park Entrance, I like the laundry room and the kitchen to make breakfast for me and my family. I know we were on vacation and we did take some time to watch a little TV, it was hard to see the screen during daylight. Overall we loved our stay. "

"The property is lovey and would stay here again. Only about 20 minutes from Sequoia National Park entrance. A short walk from the cabin to the decks on the river provided relaxing evenings to the sound of the river.Srey, the host, provided us with detailed information about the property and while we didn't see or speak to him during our stay, I was confident he would quickly respond should we need anything.Highly recommend "

"The property is very close to Sequoia National Park, which is what we wanted. We traveled as a family of five (2 parents, 3 kids), and the space was perfect! The kids loved the loft, and my husband and I had our own room to relax in. Everything we needed was there so we could cook or meals in the morning and evening when we weren't at the National Park. "Our stay at the River Retreat House was absolutely wonderful. The home is well appointed and in close proximity to SNP, which was very much ideal for us after long days out. We truly wish we had been able to stay even longer."

"The Cabin is really beautiful and spacious. The host left us a welcome basket of goodies and coffee. The kitchen was fully stocked with multiple appliances to use. There was towels and ballets supplied for us to use. Host was generous and allowed us to do a late check out of the cabin. My family and i enjoyed staying here while visiting Sequoia National Park. "Very nice Cabin in between the woods, so silent at night. The cabin has everything, was very clean and organized. Make sure you have everything from the Supermarkt as the nearest bigger market is about an Hour Drive away. My kids loved the Game Room downstairs, that is truly a Highlight. Would recommend it and Book again if we are around. Good and effective communication with the owner. Everything excellent."

"We love Kernville for the biking and rafting and small town feel. The house was well located within a mile of town and was super clean. Plenty of room for 5 guys. We enjoyed hanging in the backyard too. Highly recommend "
