"I stayed in the hotel three nights and one extra night because of a passing typhoon. I have travelled the world and experienced a lot. This place is really something extra because of the owner and all the staff members. It is pure joy and the not so little extra they give you in order to have a laid back stay is something special.And it is genuine. So much positive energy. Ok - the place needs some new paint here and there but it is nothing compared what you get from all of the staff. "

"So this iconic spot rocks!! (Excuse the pun) the view and the beach cannot be beat, and the staff is outstanding in every respect. The restaurant is very good, which is a good thing, because there really isn’t a lot of other dinning options nearby. Still, limited dinning takes a back seat to the wonderful setting and relaxing vibe. Of course, this is all true, but you should be aware that if there is one hotel on the island that is a destination for day tourist, it is Mandalong Rock Resort....

"Vel was the best, was just a quick last minute stop over. But the property manager was amazing. Even drove us then picked us up after a nice restaurant dinner at a fantastic place you would never know without her recommendation."

"Room was clean but mostly the staff were great and attentive. things like morning buffets it does not have, but it does provide a decent breakfast included with your room. You will have to go out to get other food for dinner and lunch but there is a tone of food establishments everywhere close by. It would be nice to have a restaurant on the floor so you didn’t have to leave but really, it’s not a break it for me again cause there is so much food around "

"We stayed two nights and the family suite. It was like a condo. So nice. "

"Nice location to shop. Walking distance to SM mall, easy to get a ride to Robinsons. Metro Bank next door for ATM needs. Set breakfast was nice. Rooms are a little small but clean. However we had to walk up 4 flights of stairs to get to our room. Staff was courteous and friendly."
