The Sunset Hill with Private Swimming pool and A/C

Nestled amidst ancient oak trees and olive groves, standing on the hills just 10 minutes away from Camaiore, Casa Caldareccia overlooks the glistening Mediterranean Sea from an idyllic location and offers everyday spectacular sunset views.
Casa Caldareccia is a beautiful and rustic space comprising three accommodations RENTED AS A SINGLE UNIT. You will have exclusive access to the swimming pool (10x4 mt), the outdoor veranda to enjoy the most of the meals with a breeze, the private garden and the large solarium terrace that embraces the entire perimeter of the pool, giving the perception of diving into the greenery in front of you.

On the slopes of the towering Apuan Alps, this nice rental is part of the property of a sculptor, Lorenzo Vignoli, who transformed his residence into a magical place, in harmony and intimacy with the surrounding nature, creating a scenography of sculptures to offer our guests the chance to inspire themselves in a unique and special dimension for a relaxing country retreat.

Lorenzo is an artist and a traveler who loves sharing his beautiful place with guests from all around the world. Due to the way the space is structured, you will not notice his presence, he has a private entrance and he leaves the main outdoor spaces available only for the guests. Lorenzo lives in the red Villa, he will take care of the maintenance of the garden and the swimming pool and will be available for any need during your stay. Lorenzo speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Guests will have a private entrance to the property and a parking area.

THE SPACE
Casa Caldareccia can accommodate up to 8 people, divided into 3 types of accommodations.
Each one comes equipped with: WiFi connection, linens and towels.
Guests will have at their disposal: sunbeds, deckchairs, umbrellas and a barbecue.

CHALET with private bathroom (4 people: 1 double bed/ 1 double sofa bed)

An open space wooden house with a living area of 60 sqm, provided with: a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area with a table for 8 people, 1 bathroom with shower, a living room with a double sofa bed and a sleeping area with 1 double bed and a large wardrobe. The double bed was built by Lorenzo, collecting the branches left on the beach by the sea.
This accommodation comes with air condition to offer a comfortable stay even on the hottest days of the summer, whereas in the winter it is heated with an electric heating system.
Each window has a spectacular view of the surrounding countryside and the sea with the island of Gorgona as the protagonist.
At the entrance there are 2 beautiful terracotta amphorae built by the artist. Just outside the chalet’s entrance there is a cozy veranda with a table for 8 people overlooking the sea view, the perfect place for romantic dinners.
This charming chalet opens onto the swimming pool from where you can enjoy a splendid view over the valley.
At the edge of the pool there is a statue built by the artist with a fountain at the base. This artistic work is evocative of the lightness and heaviness of life.
On one side of the swimming pool there is a comfortable outdoor shower.

GLASS ROOM with private bathroom (2 people: 1 French bed)

Wonderful double bedroom of 30 smq with: a French bed (130 x 210 cm), a private bathroom with shower and a washing machine. The large panoramic windows offer an incredible view of this unique landscape. It comes with air condition and an electric heater for a comfortable stay all over the year.
The glass room is under the sun terrace and on the back there is a private garden available for guests.

TREE HOUSE with private bathroom (2 people: 1 double bed)

Magical tree house with panoramic views of the hills of Lucca; here your time will stop and everything will appear in another light: pampered by the sound of the wind, cradled by the echo of crickets and awakened by the singing of birds.

The tree house was built by Lorenzo to offer our guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in an oasis of peace, escaping from the chaotic city life.

It consists of: a bedroom with bathroom (the Carrara marble sink was carved by Lorenzo), shower and a small coffee table. Outside there is a terrace with a table and chairs where you can sit to read a book among the branches of the trees. In winter the room is heated by an electric stove.
From October to April it is possible to rent the tree house as a single unit too.

Start the day with a coffee in the shaded dining area enjoying amazing views of the iconic Tuscan hilltops. Spend relaxing moments in the refreshing swimming pool or walk along the paths starting from the house to discover this magical region.
You will fall in love with our panoramic terrace, tasting a local wine at the sunset with a stunning view of Pietrasanta’s coastline.

GETTING AROUND
Near the property there are some typical restaurants, bars and groceries.
On the same day you can decide whether to go to the seaside or to the mountains.
There are beautiful rivers and lakes where you can swim immersed in the purest nature of our valleys.
In just 10 minutes drive you can reach the center of Camaiore, while the main seaside resorts like:Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore, the natural reserve of San Rossore and Torre del Lago Puccini are only 20 minutes away. The historical cities of Lucca and Pietrasanta are 30 minutes from the property.
Cinque Terre, Florence, Garfagnana are about 1 hour drive, while Pisa, Montecarlo, Montecatini Terme and many other sightseeing are within a 40 minutes drive away.
