Super disappointing to have to rewrite this review.
We were so excited about our stay at Zel Mallorca - the property is great, the staff are super friendly and it is overall a wonderful hotel. The issues we experienced were really disappointing - the hotel had no Wi-Fi or working entertainment for us for over five days. They tried many times to fix it, but unfortunately it was a massive outage. They promised us they would compensate for the inconvenience. And kept pushing the conversation back till the end of our 10 days when they came back and said they would do nothing. Legally and morally they handled it very poorly, and we left with such a horrible taste from the management. Once they got their full stay out of us they went back on their word, didn’t offer a single bill or credit for the inconvenience. I don’t trust a hotel group of that caliber that don’t value what they say ro customer or even try do the right thing when they fault.
Too many other beautiful and high end hotels to choose from on the island - I would pick another if I had the choice.
Concierge is also hopeless. They couldn’t get us a single reservation at a single restaurant. And we ended up having to do everything else which defeats the purpose of being at a hotel with that service.
The area is also incredibly touristy and tacky.
