"This cottage was everything as advertised. When driving up to the property my husband commented “Wow, this is it!” after staying in a few other areas that were not as quiet and private. Right smack dab in wooded nature yet cleared grounds for exploring. Steps away from Lake Superior, we were able to enjoy the beautiful sunsets as well as search for the infamous Yooperlites. "This cottage is very comfortable in a safe, calm and peaceful setting. It had everything we needed and we were even able to borrow dog beds to make sure our dogs didn't get cozy on furniture! It is a perfect location to explore Copper country. We did several hikes in the area including Mt. Baldy, Black Creek, Eagle Harbor trails, Horseshoe Harbor, and the trail in the town of Central. After hiking in the rain one day, we fired up the common sauna for some extra relaxation."

"This property was perfect for our family and looked just as advertised! The beds were very comfortable & the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook a family meal. There were 2 a/c units that kept us very comfortable. The stairs going up into the main part of the property are very steep with small steps, and we had to carry our big dog down them to get him outside. "The house was immaculate. The beds were so comfy. The house provided ample space for all of my family to get together and celebrate Easter. The kitchen was well stocked. We were able to prepare several large dinners for everyone. I loved sitting in the front room drinking morning coffee and watching ships pass on the lake. We were even able to see Isle Royale one morning. "

"We stayed in The Clubhouse. It was nicely decorated and very comfortable. We enjoyed the beach area and use of the kayaks. It has a beautiful straight on view of Lake Superior! The owner (Phillip) and groundskeepers were very helpful with questions/concerns. Calumet was a short drive away for groceries and laundry if needed. We hope to return next year! Thank you Phillip for providing such a great house in a great location! "

"Such a nice little cabin. We weren't able to enjoy the sauna because of our short stay but it looked really cool. We did really make use of the wood stove inside the cabin. We was very grateful for that. The fact that we could take my mom's dog was wonderful! The owners provided everything you'd need to be comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the bonfire pit and the awesome wood supply even though we didn't use it. We'd love to come back some day. It was a great experience!"
