"Cream cottage is comfortable and equipped with everything required for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, in a beautiful area, with a wonderful view of Knocknashee- the Hill of the Faeries. We were able to visit so many places during our stay. So much to see and do throughout the county, whatever you’d interest. Returning to the cottage each evening was lovely, sara was very responsive to any queries before and during our stay. "

"The property was clean and cosy, but the listing was misleading. The exterior photos showed a small house surrounded by green fields, whereas the actual accommodation was in a studio room behind a family home in their back garden. If we had known this beforehand, we likely would have booked elsewhere."

"This was the perfect place to start our trip to Ireland. Not only is the property perfect the hosts are also the nicest couple we met the whole vacation. I wish I could take another walk on that beach right now. Thanks Des & Mary for everything. Is é do poitin an chuid is fearr!"

"We were a party of seven adults and two dogs, visiting family and for birthday celebrations. There was plenty of room in the house and more than enough crockery etc. for our group. The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the beach. We ‘practised’ walking to the Beach Bar on several occasions! Sheila was quick to respond to any queries. And we had two weeks of Irish sunshine. A lovely stay and we would happily return."

"We had the most wonderful stay in Katie's Cottage. We met the lovely host Caroline on arrival and we couldn't have gotten a warmer welcome. There was fresh scones with jam and butter and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The house was absolutely immaculate with loads of fresh towels and bed linen. The beds were really comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. The surrounding area is stunning and the cottage was a great base to explore all of this. "The location and the property were both superb... Mary the owner ought to be cloned for every B&B. She was THE BEST....loved our interactions with her. This is a place to be highly recommended and it comes with resident donkeys. One could not ask for more. Warmer and sunnier, maybe. But hey, it's Ireland! We did have some sun!"

"After a couple of weeks seeing the UK and Ireland with 9 of our kids and grandkids, we wanted a few days to rest. We loved being in the Sligo area and dining at the nearby Beach Bar. Downpatrick Head was great to see & we even drove to the Giant’s Causeway while we were in the area. Sheila’s house was a nice place to rest and relax. We loved attending church in nearby Screen. A great ending to a great trip!"

"We were expecting the unrivaled scenery of Ireland. But to be able explore from a cozy remodeled police station was icing on the cake. Every room was clean and well stocked right down to the wood and coal for the fireplace. The hostess was warm and so helpful. We felt like we had known her forever. I will be recommending this property to family and especially to business clients that need a chance to decompress. THANK YOU SHIELA AND VRBO."
