"The rooms at the Rainbow Lodge are undergoing a significant upgrade. As we arrived, they were just re-hanging the door to our bathroom. Charles, the manager, does a great job of managing the work, and we were very comfortable with the accommodations. Our room was freshly painted, with new linen on the bed and blackout curtains on the windows. It also looked like we had a new microwave and minifridge. "This is an older but nicely remodeled home. Beautiful views even with a rainy weekend. The lake laps right up to the edge of the property. Very close to town for entertainment but far enough away that you can get alone time. We would make 2 very strong recos. Put up curtains or blinds in the living room; it's disconcerting that the neighbors can see right in. "The house was exactly what we expected. My husband had a great time exploring the trails. Am wondering the property. Wish it hadn’t snowed on us though but was beautiful to see. We’d love to return to this property in the summer to see it at a different time. There were 5 of us along with two dogs a still plenty of room a beds. "This was a great place to stay for our family of 6 adults (parents and college aged kids). Everyone had plenty of space. The location was beautiful, right on the lake, and the house was fully stocked with everything you could ask for- inside and out! The property was clean and communication with our host Brandi was easy and quick! We loved it and will certainly be back!"

"A bit run down, but overall fine. Ice machine was not working, but they dropped off a bag of ice after I advised them. No easy walk way to the fire pit. We were there for a wedding in Ukiah so spent minimal time at the property."

"swimming pool was closed to guest, laundry room closed to guests, there was buckets in the lobbies to catch dripping water from leeking ceilings, internet was not always up and running, my room needed repairs and maintance up keep, the hotel is needing much repair. The staff was excellent."
