The former Governor's House of Calodyne, a rare Mauritian heritage estate reimagined as a five-star private villa for large groups. Over 1,000 m² across three levels: 7 en-suite bedrooms, 19 air conditioners, a private 17 m pool, a gym, a kids' playroom and a rooftop terrace with sea views. Your stay includes full beach-club privileges at the four-star Zilwa Attitude resort next door; you simply order your food and drinks when you use it. Sleeps 14 guests, up to 16 on request.

SLEEPING: 7 en-suite bedrooms, 4 king, 2 queen, and 1 twin room with two singles that pair into a king on request. Bedrooms 1 to 3 have bathtubs, 4 to 7 walk-in showers. Free travel cot on request; guests 15 and 16 carry a per-night surcharge.

RESORTS: full beach-club privileges at the four-star Zilwa Attitude next door (pools, restaurants, bar, private beach; just order your food and drinks there). Day passes at the five-star LUX Grand Gaube, 5 minutes away. Five-star Sea Diamond Boutique Hotel & Spa a short walk away.

POOL: private 17 m x 7 m pool with a graduated shallow entry (20 to 50 cm, then 1.5 m deep). Unfenced, please supervise young children.

INCLUDED: arrival clean, welcome basket, mid-stay housekeeping, pool service twice weekly, weekday garden service. Wi-Fi 410/200 Mbps throughout.

GETTING THERE: two entrances, the main front gate with private parking for 10+ cars, and a poolside entrance leading toward the beach, just a 5-minute walk away. Grand Baie's restaurants and marina are a short drive. SSR International Airport is about 51 minutes by road.
