"We spent three wonderful days at this Modern House in the Sequoia National Forest, and it absolutely deserves five stars. The home was very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked, which made cooking easy and enjoyable.We were traveling with our adult children, and everyone had their own favorite part of the stay. "The property is a duplex. This property was fine last year but we tried to rent the other side of the duplex this year and had to cancel after arriving because one of the 2 bedrooms had the entire floor removed. There was a pile of moldy rotten wood and trash bags next to the front door upon arrival and active construction in one of the bedrooms. "The location was perfect, close to the lake and trails. The home was beautiful. Backyard fenced but had tons of poop. The kitchen had enough plates and silverware for the 3 of us but we had to go buy trash bags, tissue and paper towels for our four night stay. BBQ not set up for use.The cleaners apparently decided not to fully dry the bathroom towels and still hung them and folded them for us to use. "It seems in the past it might used to the be good, looking at the infra.
We arrived and there was no one at the check in - it was closed. Thee was a nunber to be called, but no one answered.
Finally, I found an on-site worker who knew someone ( not the person at the sign ) that could help me. A very nice old lady who did hsr best but could barely find the key. Finally, having found the key, we went to the room. Besides the bed, that was nice, everything else was serioulsy dirty, I mean, DIRTY....
