Located in a tranquil setting below Estreito da Calheta, the premium Ocean Panorama is a very spacious 4 bedroom villa with breath-takingly beautiful views over the the coast and sea.
The floor to ceiling picture windows of the large open-plan living area with games area slide open to create an indoor/outdoor area with the enormous front terrace and pool deck with its superb 10 metre infinity-style pool. All the bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms and are air conditioned. Below is the 2 car garage and private parking for more cars.
The whole living area, bedrooms, terrace and pool deck is set over one floor and features integrated air-conditioning throughout. The long open-plan living area, with sitting and dining areas set to benefit the most from the outstanding views. At one end is the stunning contemporary and fully equipped kitchen with a large island that also serves as breakfast bar. At the other end is the games area with a billiards table and additional sitting area and a PlayStation 4.
Large floor to ceiling picture windows not only allow you to appreciate those views day and night, but open wide to create an indoor/outdoor area with the pool terrace and deck, the outdoor dining table next to the built-in barbecue, and the sun-beds and umbrellas around the pool deck.
The rectangular infinity-style swimming pool is very long and features a large shallow tanning/relaxing ledge and breath-taking views over the coast and sea.
The four bedrooms feature king-size or single beds and en-suite shower rooms and are air conditioned.

Nearby Just up from Ocean Panorama is the trendy rum bar Pukiki. There are two small cafés (Café 99 and Navalnica) around 800m away. The nearest minimarket is only 1.2 Km away. It is 3 Km to the resort town of Calheta, with its man-made golden sandy beach. Here you will, find a selection of cafés, restaurants, a larger supermarket, the marina (boat trips can be arranged), banks and a chemist. A 5-minute drive will take you to either of the two surfing meccas of Jardim do Mar and Paul do Mar, at sea level and with trendy café-bars (try the caipirinhas and mojitos). Funchal is an easy 35-minute drive and the airport less than 50 minutes along the motorway.

Cleaning Cleaning and linen change is provided every 7 days. All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool. For health reasons, line for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own.
Booking Notes The advertised prices are based on a 4-person occupancy and supplements apply should anyone join you for any length of time. To secure your reservation we require a non-refundable deposit or the full amount if the reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. A security deposit of 500€ is required, charged in advance to a credit card. The minimum stay is 07 nights.
Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time. Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made and an additional cost will apply. Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations: Leaving the airport take the motorway (Via Rápida) West in the direction of Funchal and after this to Ribeira Brava. Travel for 34. Km.
When you reach the end of the motorway (approximately 35 minutes) keep on the right hand lane and follow the signs to Ribeira Brava – Ponta do Sol. The slip road will lead you to a roundabout. Take the first exit to Ribeira Brava and drive towards the sea for 1,4Km. You will reach another roundabout. Take the 1st exit into the tunnel and you will now carry on for 3,9Km until you reach the roundabout of Ponta do Sol. At the end of the tunnel you will reach another roundabout; take the 2nd exit , signposted Ponta do Sol and drive through another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you will enter another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you will enter another tunnel. At the end of this tunnel you will come to the roundabout of Ponta do Sol; on the left you will find a petrol station and mini market. Take the 2nd exit into the next tunnel and drive for 2,8Km. At the end of the tunnel, at the roundabout, turn sharp right into the next tunnel (signposted Calheta). At the roundabout (1,6Km), take the first turn-off, signposted to Calheta, drive through the next tunnel for 1,8Km. Reaching the next roundabout, take the second exit following signs to Calheta and through another tunnel until you reach the Calheta roundabout (2,5Km).
