Fully renovated, modern and comfortable vacation home in the village of Foz do Arelho on the Silver Coast.

Well equipped including AC/heat (in each bedroom, as well as central area), clothes washer and dryer (dryers are rare in Portugal!) in a separate laundry area, large wardrobes and luggage racks. Large flat-screen TV with local cable, and free Wifi. A lovely, quiet, private garden includes outdoor dining and lounging area/furniture, as well as table tennis/ping pong. Family friendly: portable crib, high chair, bathing tub and children's tableware provided on request (no cost). Well equipped kitchen with blender, microwave dishwasher, utensils, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, oven, induction cooktop, fridge/freezer provided.

3 Bedrooms: (1) king/full with full ensuite, (2) queen/double, and (3) 2 twin beds. Two full bathrooms (both with showers). Bonus space - extra large open space on 2nd floor for yoga, play area, etc., including home office setup (2nd floor does not have AC/heater).

Two minute walk to centre of village including local shops, restaurants and cafes. Five minute drive to the beach and lagoon - beach towels provided.

Centrally located in the traditional beach town of Foz do Arelho, with a quick walk to restaurants, cafes, groceries and shops. Lovely quiet street - enjoy coffee from the terrace, or walk 2 minutes to a cafe for excellent espresso and pastries/pastel de nata (Portugal's famous custard tarts). Foz is safe, walkable, and friendly.

Easy access to local hiking, stunning natural vistas, and, of course, the famous Foz beach and lagoon. The unique and beautiful lagoon allows for safe, calm-water swimming and water sports, while also providing surfing a few meters way in the ocean. Under 30 minutes' drive to many great/"can't miss" tourist locations: Obidos Castle, Peniche/Baleal, Nazare, Alcobaca Monestary, etc. Local sailing school and water craft rentals available nearby: try your hand at kite surfing, paddle boarding, sailing, kayaking, etc., laze in the soft sand, or enjoy a drink / lunch at the various restaurants along the beach!
