We had the balcony room. It was beautiful, clean and with an amazing view of the pyramids.
The owner was just amazing, full of great spirit, super friendly and helpful.
We were only staying one night and had planned to (hopefully) walk to the pyramids in the morning and take a couple of pictures from afar before our flight to Luxor.
We were offered a package of pyramids and museum of Egyptian civilization. The whole experience did not disappoint.
We had breakfast at 7.30 then left with the owner (tour guide) at 8.00 on the dot for the pyramids. All tickets were sorted for us with a breeze. Abdul took some memorable pictures for us and we had the best time. We even went into a smaller pyramid.
We then had time for lunch at a shawarma restaurant, again it was all sorted and paid for and was delicious.
We then left for the museum, again all ticket were sorted and we were left to wander and take our time to see the many mummies. We met back up at a given time and we're taken straight to the airport with plenty of time to spare.
The whole experience was beyond our expectations of what we had planned.
If we ever return to Cairo I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.
