It’s also a family-friendly spot, offering BBQ facilities and a beachfront playground. With its soft sand, shady trees, and safe swimming conditions year-round, it’s the perfect place to unwind.

Getting around
No matter how long you stay at Trinity Beach, your itinerary will be packed with unforgettable experiences. The Great Barrier Reef is a major draw for anyone visiting Cairns and Trinity Beach, and it’s a must-see for any trip, no matter the length. Explore the Outer Reef, islands, sand cays, inner reefs, or pontoons—there’s something for everyone. You can travel by helicopter, seaplane, sailboat, or high-speed catamaran. For diving enthusiasts, we have our Reef and access to world-class spots like Green Island and Fitzroy Island. You can even learn to snorkel, dive, or earn your dive certification while you’re here. And for a more relaxed evening, dinner and sunset cruises depart nightly from Cairns Marina and Port Douglas.
