The home is comfortable for a family or group of 4 guests. There is a sofa bed that can accommodate an additional child (making it 5 guests in total). Enjoy the relaxing in the undercover outdoor entertaining area including a huge spa, fairy lights & a BBQ with the sound of the waves and smell of the ocean breeze.

AMENITIES: We provide a generous amount of amenities as a "start up" for your stay. You will need to provide your own after that.
LINEN/TOWELS: Our linen is hotel quality and professional cleaned. Each guest is provided 1 bath towel and 1 pool towel. We also provide hand towels, face washers, bathmats and tea towels.
ENVIRONMENT: We do our best to reduce our impact on the environment by; * using recyclable coffee pods * using dishwasher and laundry detergent sheets * purchasing Qld made toilet paper and tissues * using environmentally friendly products * refilling shampoo, conditioner, bodywash dispensers * where possible, providing recycling bins
Guest have access to the entire property including spa and undercover outdoor dining area.
The large fenced yard makes this a great property to rest up with your caravan, camper van or boat safely stowed off the street.

Oshea's Pub afternoon drinks or dinner is great Mayhem at Machans - Good coffee, breakfast & smoothies. All food is good that we have tried Afternoon walks on esplanade are nice Good park for the kids around 150m down road Good fishing off rock wall less than 100m away (many barra & threadfin [king] salmon caught here). Mud crabbing in creeks surrounding (we have caught many!) Buses at end of street (next to Mayhem at Machans) however it's a hail only stop. Main bus stop on Machans Street. Buses go both ways inc Cairns Central & Smithfield Smithfield Shopping Centre is great. They have everything you need inc. Woolworths, Coles, Kmart, Dan Murphys & cafes. Very close to airport. Noise not too bad either considering proximity Holloways Beach bike path / bridge is great. Swimming in nets at Holloways Main Beach. Can recommend Strait on the Beach cafe for breakfast or lunch. Machans Store is good for general items inc. post office, fuel, convenience store (approx 200m away) Quiet area & nice neighbours Bin days are Friday's - later in day generally (Every second Friday for recycling) Door Dash seems to have best food delivery options in our opinion Generally less than $25 Uber to get into cairns nightlife district (ie casino) Barron River boat ramp 1km (3 mins drive) away. Access to the reef via boat through river mouth on right tide height. Native bee hives on property. They will not sting you (they have no sting) & play a very big part in our healthy environment.
NOTE: Spa is not heated HOUSE RULES We aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible. For us to do so we would appreciate you following the house rules. These rules are a condition of your occupancy. Check-in is after 3pm, Check-out is 10am. Please respect our property and leave it as you found it, clean and tidy. No smoking inside the property. Dogs allowed, please inform us at the time of booking. If evidence of smoking or pets without approval are found, charges for extra cleaning fees will apply. We take no responsibility for any loss or damage to property or injury or death to occupant, guest or invitee. No unregistered guests allowed. Maximum number of guests must not exceed property information for maximum guest numbers. No parties or events permitted. Please respect the neighbours and keep noise to a minimum before 7am and after 10pm. If a complaint is received you will receive a message via the booking platform, then a phone call. Failure to comply with reducing noise may lead to immediate eviction. Please take out rubbish before you check out, location of bins are provided in your checkout instructions. Please ensure all dishes and kitchenware are washed and returned to cupboards, fridge cleaned out. Please take care of your keys/access cards. If you lock yourself out a callout fee will be incurred. If the keys/access card are lost or taken with you on your departure, a replacement fee will be incurred. No drugs or illegal substances allowed on the premises. Please take care of the furnishings. Guests are responsible to pay for damage or breakages. Any damage/breakages to be reported to the host before checkout. Any alteration to the booking must be made by the guest via the booking platform. Internet connectivity varies from property to property, depending on location, weather and unforeseen events. We are unable to remedy technical issues outside of our control. We do not refund for problems such as plumbing, electrical, Wifi not working, light globes blown or gas, etc. Any issues identified by the occupant must be communicated to the host and will be attended to as soon as practically possible. At times, when the property is occupied, maintenance specialists are required to attend to their regular maintenance schedule, i.e. lawns and pools. Any breach of the above rules will permit us to cancel or terminate a booking. Refunds will not be paid on terminated bookings. Our cancellation policy is firm and we highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover your trip in case of emergencies, illness, extreme weather, etc. Any refund requests outside of our cancellation policy will be declined. We are happy to provide documentation to your travel insurance company to help expedite your claim. Our team is available from 8am to 6pm to help during your stay.
