The property is managed really well. I had actually left my passport in the house and driven all the way back to San Jose without realizing it. They were very helpful in getting an uber driver to drive the passport all the way to San Jose for me. This was a big life saver. The property itself could use some TLC. The washer stopped working on the last day we were there and the hot water was not very reliable. However, the layout was amazing and made up for these minor inconveniences in a big way. You don't need to do a night tour when staying here. Just pack a flashlight and walk around. You will find every kind of tree frog there is. During the day, howler monkeys and spider monkeys are all around. And right across the road, there is a restaurant called Mocha that is really nice. The trail to the beach is a bit treacherous, but once you walk it, you have the beach to yourself. We rarely saw anyone while we were there. As a family it was great to have that level of privacy. I would definitely recommend this property for the adventurous family that enjoys unplugging and exploring.
