"This lodge was the perfect setup for our family of 4 visiting the Cahuita area for a couple days. Immersed in nature and 5 minutes drive from the village, ideal for those looking for peace and quiet (except for the howler monkeys calls!) as long as you have a rental car. We were welcomed by the very friendly owners who provided a delicious breakfast on demand (great deal given quantity and quality). "The place is beautiful and as advertised however the hot water was not great. Cold showers for our stay was not ideal. The host sent a passcode to check in and then when we arrived we found out that we had to go to the office but only after a large language barrier. This would have been so much better had the host been clear about check in instructions and transparent about the hot water situation. "
