Skellig Bay Cottage is ideal for a wonderful holiday in Kerry. Just minutes from Waterville, the premier coastal tourist centre on the Ring of Kerry, this property offer stunning views of Atlantic Ocean and the Mountains. The cottage is nestled between two championship golf courses, Waterville Links and Skellig Bay. Its prime location offers stunning views of the Skellig Islands and Bay in an area ideal for Walking, Golfing, Fishing, Diving, Riding, wind surfing and many other outdoor activities. The house comprises of a bright and spacious living space with open fire and conservatory, and an outside BBQ/al fresco area with spectacular sea view. The kitchen, dining room and lounge are linked in an open plan design which is ideal for entertaining with double doors to the patio area and private garden. 4 bedrooms (3 double/1 twin), 2 ensuite with sea view, a family bathroom, utility room. Easily accessible via Cork and Kerry airports and trainstation.

Skellig Bay Cottage is ideal for a wonderful, holiday in Kerry. Just minutes from Waterville, the premier coastal tourist centre on the Ring of Kerry, this property offer stunning views of Atlantic Ocean and the Mountains. Skellig bay cottage is designed to give a special living space, airy and bright, yet warm and comfortable with a touch of modern Irish country living. This is achieved through the use of natural materials, oak wooden floors and travertine stone tiling. This eco-friendly property is warm and welcoming all year round, provided with under floor heating throughout (sourced through an eco-friendly geothermal system).

The Kitchen, Dining room, Lounge, front Bedroom all have stunning sea views. The custom made shaker kitchen is very well equipped with the latest appliances (including a cappuccino maker!), Oak worktops and island/breakfast bar.

The lounge is extra comfortable with 2 3-seater couches, open fire and flat screen TV with internet TV. Radio, Board Games and library.

Outside: The BBQ/ Al fresco area is fully equipped with BBQ utensils and elegant teak garden furniture. It offers beautiful sea views and is ideal to enjoy an afternoon with friends or a romantic glass of wine at sunset. Bedrooms: bedrooms have large ensuites or Walk-In wardrobe, plus a wonderful sea view.

Skellig Bay cottage is situated Waterville nestles between Balinskelligs Bay & Lough Currane, you will find mountains & lakeland with the added advantage of the sea on your doorstep. The cottage is only 5 minute walking distance from a beautiful secluded beach suitable for swimming, fishing and diving. It is also the ideal locations for walking with the Kerry Way on its doorstep.

My husband and I were traveling with our daughter and son-in-law and only stayed only one night due to availability! The location is situated over the Atlantic with pretty views and sheep and goats just down the hill!Its location is close to Cahersiveen, Waterville and Derrynane!The cottage was well equipped! The beds were very comfortable and plenty of living space for all to enjoy!It was raining when we arrived and there was a load of wet laundry in the wash! Didnā€™t see a dryer so tried to dry that the best we could! With wet weather a dryer would be a great addition!Overall, a wonderful, relaxing place to stay. Would recommend more than one night!

Lovely stay - gorgeous view

Our family really enjoyed staying at this spacious property with an awesome view over the water - sheep in the field beside us bleating peacefully - house is perfect for a family of six - lots of space - and a well equipped kitchen - clothes washer is great but there is no dryer - which should be corrected on the listing - a good clothes line and interior rack for drying - thanks again - lovely spot to stay

Disappointed. A difficult experience.

We are disappointed with the experience at this house. The listing clearly had washing machine, dryer, and hot tub. There was no dryer and no hot tub. The washing machine was broken when we arrived and we all needed to clean our clothes during our stay. James did not communicate properly and was argumentative when trying to come up with solutions

Great house, beautiful views!

We had a wonderful stay at Skellig Bay Cottage! The house was spacious and comfortable and had everything that we needed. The location was perfect for relaxing in front of the views and short day trips to all of the sights. Our favorite part of the house was the large ocean front window. We all took turns sitting in the comfy chairs reading a book or just taking in the scenery of sheep and ocean. Thank you for a great stay in the Ring of Kerry!

Lovely stay in this beautiful home with great amenities. I suspect after a long and probably successful summer thereā€™s some touching up needed during the colder months but overall cleanliness was fine and (despite the monsoon weather) we were all cozy.

Simply Stunning

Photos can't do this location justice. Simply waking up to the amazing and ever-changing views of Ballinskelligs Bay ensure you're beginning your day on a beautiful note. The house is situated just few minutes' drive from town, meaning you have all the amenities of the village without the tourist crowds coming off the buses to contend with. It's incredibly well-appointed, and dealing with James and Jenny was a true pleasure. We were in Waterville for a wedding, but look forward to coming back to the cottage at a later date for a lengthier stay.

Das Haus ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet, gerƤumig, schƶne Schlafzimmer und Wohnbereich und KĆ¼che. Der Blick aufs Meer und die umliegenden Schafweiden ist wunderschƶn. Grosser Garten perfekt zum Spielen fĆ¼r die Kinder. Sehr sauber, KĆ¼che vollstƤndig eingerichtet und mit Grundnahrungsmitteln/Putzzeug ausgestattet. 8 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt von Waterville, wo es einen grossen Supermarkt und eine Gelateria hat. Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber/Putzfrau unkompliziert per Whatsapp.

I can't imagine a more comfortable and spacious house for the five of us. We never tired of the view of the bay, from the many big windows and from our walks along the little road. The only downside was that it was so pleasant and I was so intimidated by driving that we didnā€™t head out on lots of adventures like I'd planned!

Great location!

Nice space for a siblings trip. Plenty of elbow room for four independent adults. Kitchen/dining area was utilized a lot. Plenty of books/games to use when chilling at the house. Jenny was helpful in guiding us to the unit in the dark. And the locale - spectacular! Overall, a property I'd recommend if you appreciate amazing scenery and a rustic setting.
