The Space:

Poppy Cottage is one of five stone-built holiday properties called Tyddyn Whisgin Cottages, located close to the village of Caeathro on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. The cottage sleeps three people and has one double bedroom, a wet room and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a single sofa bed, which is suitable for a child up to 13 years old. Outside the cottage is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed patio with furniture. Poppy Cottage provides superbly well-equipped, quality accommodation throughout and provides a great base from which to discover the numerous leisure activities available in this fantastic part of North Wales. The Neighborhood:

Caeathro is a small rural North Wales village close to the Snowdonia National Park, Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula. The village has its own shop and pub, and is just two miles from the popular tourist destination of Caernarfon with its 13th Century castle, old town walls and smart waterfront. Caernarfon offers a fine selection of shops and places to eat, as well as a station for the Welsh Highland Railway where you can catch a train that takes you through breathtaking scenery; guided tours of the castle and historic pageants during the season; and sea-fishing trips off the coast of Anglesey. The gorgeous beaches of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula are easily accessed from this location, and many climbing, walking, mountain biking, golfing and water sports opportunities are all within reach nearby.
