Dog friendly cozy red cottage near lakes and trails

This cottage is dog friendly with a fenced in yard. Although only 600 sq ft. it is spacious. Enjoy your time under the covered patio. Enjoy a cozy campfire or relax inside around the fireplace. Enjoy access to all-sports Arnold Lake which is just a short walk from the cottage. Bring your ATVs and enjoy the nearby trails, spend time fishing , golfing or exploring other Mid Michigan towns.

Loved your place. It was very cozy and they thought of every detail. The dogs loved the big yard. Would definitely recommend and stay again when I'm the area.

Great stay!

Overall our stay was great! There was nice supplies left for use during our stay. Everything was clean and organized. The backyard was great to hang out in, many different seating areas to choose from. Our doggo had a great time playing fetch in the yard. I will however say that the neighbor has two what appear to be golden doodles whom are not the nicest dog's, the owners of the cabin have zero control over this. But if you a dog who is not really friendly with dogs this might cause an issue as the dogs were jumping at the top of the fence towards our dog- just a heads up! Over all a great time and woould not hesitate to return with our doggo!

Great cabin!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It is very comfortable for small groups and clean. The location is great and walking distance to lakes. Weā€™ll book it again when we come back!

Deer season

We were looking for a place to stay for hunting. My sons and I found this place it was a nice stay and suited us well. The listing does not show the amount of little details in this cabin. Thank you for a nice stay.

Halloween cabin getaway

My fiance, dog, and I had a great stay and loved all the halloween decor. The backyard patio and fire pit area was so charming! It was helpful that the backyard is completely fenced in and they had all the necessities to make our stay comfortable.

Good To Get Away

We really enjoyed our weekend away and this place was wonderful. Walking out the patio doors we loved the backyard and spent a lot of our time out there from playing games, eating lunch and sitting by the campfire. It was perfect for our dog too. The only complaints we really have are the sheets didn't seem clean for the bunk bed, we couldn't find a lighter for the campfire and there was only one kitchen towel and one hand towel for the bathroom. The shower is small but it served the purpose. Communication with owner was so so. Besides a few minor faults we would still recommend this place and we liked staying there, very much so.

wonderful place

the place was a very nice place loved it and loved the back deck ,out door games also to play and a beautiful nice place to sit outside and a nice fire pit every thing was so convenient and washer and dryer was very convenient would recommend it to others. Thanks Shelly Dorr! beautiful yard also! This place was close Cranberry Lake nearby cities by Clare Michigan ,,,Mount Pleasant the soaring Eagle Casino it was a enjoyable place in Harrison City.

We had a very nice time enjoying the fenced in yard, the nice outdoor patio area and the general aesthetic. The only minor change I would suggest is a larger coffee maker.

Very small cabin

The cabin was decorated very cute! It would have been helpful for the owner to have information available on what is around the area such as the go carts and restaurants. The yard looks large in the photos but you have neighbors all around. There is no privacy. The porch is cute and it says you can enjoy it even in the rain, not true! It rained every day we were there and we could not use the porch. We even lost power for a few hours. We ended up leaving a day early and the owner said we would receive a refund, well weā€™re still waiting on the refund!! Did not appreciate the camera on the tree in the back yard. I would have liked to have been informed that it was there! I understand why you have one, just would have appreciated acknowledgment of it in your information booklet. If you want to cook while you are there you will need to bring your own supplies from spices to utensils and pans. Did enjoy the ability to bring our dogs. We will not go back because I have contacted the owner regarding the refund and havenā€™t heard a word back!! Also she took awhile getting back to us whenever we had an issue. We were standing in the rain for 5 minutes because the door lock wouldnā€™t work we contacted the owner and we got it to work ourselves didnā€™t hear from owner for a couple of hours. We were the first renters so hopefully things work better now.

Pleasant getaway!

Very cute cottage that the owners put a lot of time into. Neighborhood is a little on the run down side but not this cottage!. It was safe and secure and we enjoyed our time together here. Great backyard and patio for entertaining!!
