The "in-village" experience was pleasant, never obtrusive. Security and comfort were good. Though much was written in other reviews about the noise from the mosques nearby, they did not bother us at all - it was actually a nice sampling of one part of life for most Indonesians and not disturbing of our rest. "Modern and comfortable hotel in Yogyakarta, at good value. Although a bit far from the main street (malioboro), it isn't difficult to get transport around the city. The staff were very helpful - always smilling -, and they helped us rent a scooter, which I reccomend. Ended up staying one more night."
