"The people and the view are unbeatable! Breakfast was scrumptious and the dining room/deck are excellent venues. The rooms were fine - comfortable enough beds, good shower. Soaps, shampoos of low quality. No iron. It's about 10 minutes from the restaurants, etc, which is also acceptable. It's a shame the restaurant is no longer operating except for breakfast. We are sure it must have been amazing."
"They have begun renovations, new flooring installed in room. Should have started by replacing the matresses. It was like laying on a board. Bathroom ceiling was peeling, no bathroom fan, had to open windows which is on the main balcony to get to the other rooms and curtains for this windows didn't cover it when down completely ."
"Excellent place to stay during a trip to Cape Breton! Very well maintained property, lovely rooms, great restaurant, and wonderful staff. Would definitely recommend to any traveller through the Cabot Trail."
"Unique property, staff was friendly and accommodating and there was a nice breakfast provided in the morning. Kids liked staying here, as there were 3 beds in our room so they didn't have to share. Our only complaint would be the bugs and spiders in the room. It is a "cottage style" vibe, so if you are looking for fancy, it might not be your place."
