Summary:
Marina Resort 502 in Flamingo is a sweet, chic 2-bedroom, 2-bath residence right in front of a secluded little beach (and a swimming pool). This newly remodeled, 1,400-square-foot unit has a newly renovated, fully equipped modern kitchen with stainless-steel appliances and stone-like walls. In addition, it has new porcelain tile flooring throughout.
The Space:
The dining table seats six, and a breakfast bar seats three more. The living room is attractively furnished with modern blue furniture and a wood-and-glass coffee table. It has TV, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The ocean-facing terrace is huge, attractively furnished and equipped with a gas barbecue. Just a few steps away is a long, inviting lap pool, and beyond that is a stairwell leading to an isolated little beach. Both bedrooms are sumptuously furnished and decorated, with big beds, TVs and tropical art. Bathrooms have brand-new countertops, plumbing and shower fixtures. The unit has its own washer and dryer in a laundry room with an additional refrigerator.

Venturing beyond Marina Resort 502, Flamingo
Marina Resort 502 is a short walk from downtown Flamingo and a brand-new marina that’s currently under construction. Downtown Flamingo is a lovely, walkable town with several restaurants, shops and a grocery store. Flamingo has two beaches – Potrero and Flamingo – and it takes less than 10 minutes to walk from one to the other. Flamingo Beach is especially popular, as it’s long and shady and backed by protected mangroves. Marina Resort is with 45 minutes of the international airport in Liberia. For families who choose to live here, there are two bilingual international schools within 15 minutes.
All kinds of adventure are available within a short distance of here, including fishing, scuba diving, jet skiing, sunset cruises, surfing, ziplining, mountain biking, waterfalls, ATV rentals and wildlife rescue centers. Within a day trip of here, you can visit a number of national parks, including Rincón de la Vieja Volcano National Park, which is known as “Costa Rica’s Yellowstone” and is known for thermal activity like fumaroles and mut pots, plus hot springs and mud baths.

Pet-friendly policy
We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs.), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied.

The Neighborhood:
Flamingo is a high-end beachfront community notable for its dazzling ocean views and the beautiful, hilly peninsula that juts out into the Pacific, separating Playa Potrero from Playa Flamingo.
Flamingo is home to a wide array of stunning homes and vacation rentals, as well as humbler lodging options, and it has restaurants, grocery stores, banks and other conveniences.
A brand-new, state-of-the-art marina opened to the public in 2022, with slips for yachts and fishing boats, condos for rent and all kinds of shops and restaurants. Other major developments here include the 360 Splendor del Pacifico luxury condominiums on top of the North Ridge, the Margaritaville Beach Resort, and the upscale Mar Vista housing development, where there’s an excellent private school called La Paz.
Good restaurants in town include the Coco Loco, a beachfront eatery known for its coconut drinks and standout cuisine; Marie’s, a reliable standard with a long and enticing menu; Angelina’s, featuring fine Italian dining in an elegant environment; and several options at the Margaritaville, including the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill.
Flamingo was largely developed by foreigners, and it lacks the traditional Costa Rican downtown with a soccer field plaza, church and school. The heart of town is an upscale commercial plaza with stone steps, fountains, restaurants and shops. Farther away on the road to Brasilito, you’ll find smaller restaurants, hotels, banks, hardware stores and the Super Massai grocery store.
Flamingo is more or less the centerpiece of a beautiful coastline stretching from the Reserva Conchal resort in the south to the Las Catalinas resort in the north, with the more traditional Costa Rican towns of Brasilito and Potrero in between. Flamingo is within easy striking distance of several beaches, including Conchal, Flamingo, Potrero, Penca, Prieta, Pan de Azucar and Danta.
Getting Around:
Our agents will be happy to assist you with renting a car, giving you the freedom to explore the area where you want, when you want. For short drives to nearby towns or beaches, golf carts are another popular mode of transportation. You can also rent a bicycle to ride around in town or beyond.
We can arrange transfers to and from the airport. Rental cars can also be delivered to your property at no additional cost, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery as our private van drives you here from the airport.
Taxis are available but can be a bit hard to find. Many locals use buses to get around, though there are a limited number of routes and times of day when you can catch them. Private shuttles can be a great option for traveling to nearby destinations, and many tour companies offer transportation to and from the tour.
