"The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Devil's Bridge and the surrounding area. We visited the Elan Valley dams and reservoirs, the Silver Mountain and Aberystwyth. The Hotel looks stunning from the outside and inside. A lot of care has gone into every detail of the hotel. Our room was on the top floor. It was very cool and quirky, just a little bit musty smelling. (We couldn't open the windows without a load of bugs flying in so had to keep them closed unfortunately.) The bathroom...

"The room was lovely, the helpful information and instructions were clear and easy to understand. (Might add some instructions for the coffee machine as I was being dim!) "We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024. We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect. We were met by the owner and there was a welcome wine/biscuits plus tea and coffee. There is a Nespresso Gusto machine too plus a few pods :). "The inn is lovely, perfect location, great staff, good food, free parking on the road, wonderfully comfy bed and great bathroom… but beware of room 7 with a sea view.. on the second floor up steep steps but the reason for the 3 star rating is that you will constantly hear the water pump every time anyone in the hotel uses a drop of water. ALL NIGHT LONG! Very hard to sleep or stay asleep when is constantly starting up close by the bed. Were exhausted the next day, so glad we only stayed one...
