"As soon as you pull in you are greeted by a beautiful willow tree. The property is just amazing, from the trout stream to the house. Oh my, the house, it is picturesque, it should be featured in a magazine. It is the cleanest vacation rental house we have stayed in. A big plus, just a short drive to Watauga lake. The host, Gary, is super friendly. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Cabin was nice , the ac was ice cold . Lake was a short walk. Swimming beach is 10 minutes down the road. My wife and daughter misplaced some swimsuits, the owner messaged me and made them available for me, I would definitely recommend. "

"We loved the Bass Bungalow! This place is a gem. Clean, cozy and the views are awesome! Such a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the porch soaking in the beautiful mountains and Lake Watauga. Our dog enjoyed swimming and had easy access to enter the lake. It was a perfect getaway for us. "

"This place was perfect for a long guy’s weekend getaway! The setting is every bit as beautiful as the pictures show. We rented a pontoon boat from Fish Springs Marina, about a 20 minute boat ride from the house. We enjoyed paddling the cove and one of the boys caught a 4 pound largemouth! The kitchen was very well appointed for cooking. The fire pit was a highlight as the sun set and the covered porch with propane fire was a perfect alternative on a night of scattered showers.
