Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie das Staubecken Heimbach, der Meuchelberg, der Mariawald, der Schiffsanleger mit Ausflügsmöglichkeiten zum Rur-und Obersee, die Rurtalsperre, das Jugendstil- Wasserkraftwerk von Heimbach, der Bahnhof Heimbach, eine Bushaltestelle in Richtung Schleiden (Wilder Kermeter) sind in unmittelbarer Nähe und fußläufig super zu erreichen. Die Lage war für unsere Ausflüge ideal. Die Gastgeber waren außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. "A cidade de Aachen é muito agradável. O hotel é bem grande. Quarto de bom tamanho, cama confortável. Infelizmente o hotel e a cidade estavam lotados. Não pudemos usar o estacionamento do hotel pois estava cheio. Num dos quartos o ar condicionado não funcionou por sorte o clima estava ameno. "
