As the FIFA World Cup comes to the US this summer, Old Mallard is a practical stay for World Cup travelers. The home sits about 90 minutes from both MetLife Stadium and about 2.5 hours from Lincoln Financial Field, offering a quieter, more spacious alternative to city lodging. With easy highway access, guests can attend matches in New York or Philadelphia and return to a private lakefront setting with room to recharge. Ideal for groups, press and corporate travelers attending World Cup events in New York City and Philadelphia. A warm welcome for guests visiting from Brazil, England, Norway, Senegal, Ecuador, Panama. Germany, France, Argentina, Brazil, Morocco, Portugal, and all other participating countries.

Free access to all community amenities like the lake, the beach, the indoor heated pool, kiddie pool, whirlpool, pickleball courts, tennis, basketball and a snack bar. Only a 1.5-mile drive to the community center from the pool. Community tags are provided at the house. The lake is in your backyard. Private heated salt water pool (May-Sept). All year INDOOR community heated pool: Tue, Wed, Fri 12-3 pm | Sat & Sun: 12-4 pm.

The Indoor Heated Pool is open every weekend (SAT-SUN) at our community center from 12-4 pm only on Sep to mid-May. The Private Lakefront Heated Salt Outdoor Pool is now closed and will re-open in May. Your family will never want to leave the spacious waterfront yard with its numerous amenities: The Outdoor community heated Pool opens from Memorial Day to Labor Day, daily from 12-9 pm, and access to the pool bar and kitchen for quick bites. FREE ACCESS is available on our brand-new tennis and pickleball courts! Bring your paddles and challenge your kids to a fun and exciting match on the court.

Old Mallard is the BEST house in the Pocono Mountains. This home has everything you need and the views from every room are stunning and plenty of space outdoors too! The bright and architect-designed open-concept kitchen, dining room, and family room in a 26x26 space with 13 ft. ceilings make it a perfect gathering space for family and friends. Share the love of cooking, playing games, sitting by the fire watching a movie, chilling in our brand-new hot tub with your favorite drink, or enjoying the large game room. At night, take a walk down to our private firepit, make some smores, and tell scary stories to the kids.

If you're looking for a great vacation destination that is close enough to drive from NYC (2 hours), Old Mallard is the perfect home for you. Our family has enjoyed many summers at this home with our kids and we think it would make an ideal all-year getaway spot. The Private community comes with lots of amenities nearby including hiking trails, a white sandy beach, access to the lake, an indoor heated pool (weekends from Sept to May), and an outdoor heated pool (Memorial Day to Labor Day daily 12-8 pm). The house features a large deck overlooking the lake and again the large 40x20 private fenced-in heated Pool is a big popular amenity for Old Mallard and will open May 1-Sept 29. The game room with its professional size ping pong table, foosball table, mini fridge and TV area is sure to please everyone...

Nearby attractions include Tree Ventures for climbing and ziplining, Childs Park for more hiking, Bushkill Falls (The Niagara of PA) and the Delaware River for canoeing. If you want to stay home and do nothing, we have everything for you. Use our canoe and kayak for free, swim in our motor-free lake, and see if you can do one lap, it's about 1 mile around. Great fun for all and very well kept. Plenty of pillows and blankets to cozy up. We look forward to hosting you at Old Mallard. You might get lucky and see some wildlife also from the property. For runners, this area has some challenging and very low-traffic hills and roads for your enjoyment. The deer will be your fans on the route.

Enjoy the private hot tub, kayaks, arcade, ping pong, and foosball, or unwind at the indoor community pool, open almost daily! Tue, Wed & Fri (12–3 PM) and Sat & Sun (12–4 PM). We accept up to two pets, with a maximum weight of 40 lbs, subject to a pet fee of $125.
