"The classic room we booked was very tired and dated. The walls, especially around switchesX were marked, worn and grubby. The bathroom was especially bad, dusty, mouldy and generally needs a refurb - I felt dirty using it! The decoration, fixtures and fittings were extremely dated. The carpets were marked and stained. "The welcome we received at check in was probably the best welcome ever at a hotel. Our room was squeaky clean and we had a gorgeous relaxing view over the golf course. We ate in the onsite restaurant one evening, sensibly priced and great food, again the staff were exceptional. We loved the use of the pool and its other facilities. All in all it was a fabulous stay, we hope to visit again."

"The room was ideal for what I needed and was a lot warmer than first looked, with it being in the outbuildings I thought it would be freezing but it was sound. The breakfast was decent enough and overall the stay represented excellent value for money. It’s probably a lot more lively in the summer as the pub/restaurant was empty the night I was there which felt a bit strange. I would stay again if in the area with work."

"Super cute establishment! Room was super clean, room service came every day and replenished everything. 2 complimentary bottles of water provided every day. Staff literally bent over backwards to accommodate every step of the way. The restaurant was absolutely fire!!"

"The facilities are good and the rooms are well provided and clean. The food in the restaurant is excellent and of high standard. There is a range of spirits and wines in the bar, and the beers on tap were nice. Car park was ample for the area."
