"My family and I were traveling north and chose to pause in Harvey Bay. Since it was an unplanned stop, we were unable to reserve any motels, as they were all fully booked. Fortunately, this was the only accommodation available in the area. We stayed for just one night, and I can confidently say that the staff at this establishment are the best in Harvey Bay. "Beautiful apartment. Stylish and had everything we needed for a short stay. Reception staff were fabulous, lots of information about the property and the pool was beautiful and clean. Wish it had a spa though. There are private spa apartments you can book. Great security for your car and free designated parking. Overall really great property on the beachfront and nice walk to shops. "

"Nice holiday apartment. Spacious and clean. Two storey block and they've had some significant flooding recently so all the ground floor apartments were being refitted while we were there. But our upstairs apartment was fine and exactly what we wanted. "

"Spent a week with Family at Toogoom retreat. Plenty of space for all of us to spend time together or have some chill out time. Everything you could possibly need is provided at the house which was fantastic. They even catered for the little ones (high chair, portacot, cutlery etc). The mosquitoes and sand flies are relentless during early morning and late afternoon (not just by the water but around the outside of the house as well) so make sure you take plenty of Bushman’s and mosquito coils. "

"Great property for dogs with excellent high solid fencing on three sides, and pool-fencing on the back (did result in some barking at bush turkeys and people walking past on the access track). Very easy to get to the beach, however when the tide is low its not great for swimming and when the tide is high you can't walk along the beach. "Was good the only thing that didn't suit me was the width of the front gate was very narrow to get my boat in which I had to put in the marina that was a me problem "

"Our Hosts Mark and Julie were superb, very accommodating and helpful. The house was well equipped and modern. The kitchen was a dream to cook in with the modern appliances. The front and back steps could use a handrail, but they are quite manageable. I will defiantly be booking it again. Thank you both so much. "

"As usual (we've stayed at 'The Duk' many times now), we had a lovely 2 weeks at the Duk 'n' Willa cottage. Even with incredibly wet weather (we had 4 days without rain/showers in the 2 weeks we were there!) we still managed to have a great time and fitted in kayaking, fishing and lots of great beach walks with our dogs. "I was initially booked into a pet friendly accommodation however we had a last minute change which did not allow pets. I had to find somewhere for my small dog. The fire alarm battery needed replacement and I notified the company responsible for looking after the property but they didn't replace it which meant I had to remove the battery and the smoke alarm was disabled for our entire 7 night stay. We had a bath and when we pulled the plug for the water to drain the bathroom flooded dirty smelly...
