"The cottage was very well equipped. Two views were fantastic - front and rear coves with decks on which to enjoy them. The activities in the area included hiking, lookouts, and birding / wildlife viewing. Wonderful stay."

"Loved our stay. Cottage was clean and cozy. Pretty easy to find, not far from Twillingate. I loved lounging on the deck with my morning coffee. Had all the amenities needed. Enjoyed the view of the water and the quiet surroundings. We would recommend the cottage to anyone staying in the area. "

"We stayed July 5th-12th 2025. This house rental was perfect for our week vacation. Enough space for 4 people (3 ppl for us). The house provided everything we needed. Clean and bright with a great view. Great to have laundry on-site. Make sure to check out Pikes Arm Look-out. P.S. we couldn't find a pen to sign the guestbook. "

"Overall the place was very nice and I would not hesitate to stay there again. However I am 6'4" tall and had to bend over to walk upstairs the ceilings are very low I would venture to guess they are only 6'-0" ceilings. All the bedrooms and the master bath are like this. I ended up using the Downstairs bath which was very nice. Again not a deal killer just be aware of this if you are over 6' tall. We used the grill it was in very nice shape and clean. "We loved our stay at the Hillside Vacation Home. We had everything we could need, great location, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and showers, and lovely decor. The pamphlets and pictures around the house were a nice addition. It was also great to be able to control the heat in each room separately. That allowed us to put on a little heat in the living room while leaving the other rooms unheated. A wonderful stay all around. "

"Very quiet and close to everything. Had a cottage to ourselves. We also had everything we needed. Tea,coffee and sugar. Lots of towels and Kleenex, toilet paper. Also took time to make a booklet about everything that was around. Great idea. In all it was excellent."

"This property exceeded all of our expectations! It was beautiful, clean and well stocked. The interior felt like a luxury vacation, while also being quaint and locations appropriate (wood beams and a coastal kitchen feel). Giant windows looked out onto the harbour so it felt like you were really in a fishing village proper. It was fun watching the seagulls out the front window. I appreciated staying just outside of Twillinggate rather than in twillinggate proper, it was a homier feel and really...
