"Given the price we paid, I expected more.
It says parking, but that is hit and miss, with parking permits issued, but several cars in the car park without them and therefore difficulty finding a space.
The room although quite well presented was very small, more of the size I would have expected for a single room, not double.
It was hot weather I know, but even with a fan running all the time, the temperature was unbearable and the window had restricted opening.
The hot water temperature needs...

"Disappointing one night stop over. Its more of a business traveller, conference & private events venue than a country house hotel. Suite 15 is directly opposite the kitchen extractor fan which is on from before 5.00am until the kitchen closes at night & can easily be heard in the room. "This is a great budget hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and it wasn’t noisy at all. I would definitely recommend the hotel if your on a budget, great night sleep. And also parking was free so win win."

Had some food and it was fine and a few drinks.
Nice atmosphere and well situated in the town.
Room was fine, settee was a bit big for the room but you can see what they are trying to do.
Young woman who showed us round was nice and so too the young woman at breakfast."

"Everything about our stay was very good. Lovely clean room with everything we needed. Large bath with very hot water . Kettle with tea, coffee , biscuits etc , hairdryer and iron.
Dinner was good and the breakfasts were freshly prepared. We enjoyed our drinks in the bar and the prices were very reasonable. Staff Lovely and friendly, will certainly think of returning. "
