"Recently refurbished so that was nice . We thought all the staff were really friendly and professional to both humans and dogs . It was nice that the team at the hotel all pulled together , conversed with the guests and looked good in their uniforms. We have no qualms about saying Book ! you will love it - its a very welcoming place in the middle of the forest. "

"The reception staff were incredible, and the gentleman was very accommodating and helpful for my specific requirements. Breakfast was a £14 cost regardless of what you had and due to doing a race that morning I only ate minimal. Aside from this, I feel this was counteracted by the service I received and would recommend the hotel. "Lovely stay in one of the smaller, cosy doubles. Room nicely decorated and the whole pub had a really nice, cosy vibe. Food was great, always such a wide menu with large portions. Good ale and wine selection too. "
