"The staff are very kind and welcoming, the roast dinner carvery and breakfast are 10/10. Very British, great quality service. Rooms are clean and tidy, pool and spa needs a little updating/fixing small wear&tear such as stairs to pool and pool flooring. Driving range is great fun, nice local woodland walk/park. Apart from very small maintenance issues, perfect stay. Will always return :) Relaxed and traditional atmosphere. "

"Very comfortable rooms, abundant free parking, nice toiletries and lovely staff. Location was also very convenient for visiting my family in Norwich's Golden Triangle. The only small disappointment was that we weren't able to book in for breakfast on the Sunday due to the volume of guests and short staffing of the dining area, which meant we had to go out for breakfast. "

"The pub was shut while we were there . Not a problem as we eat the sherry inn across the road . Parking was a nightmare due to paying as card only and couldn’t pay on my card or phone anyone . But hotel was very comfortable had a good night sleep very clean . Would diff stay there again "

"A last minute event meant the we needed somewhere to stay so we decided to treat ourselves to Dinner Bed & Breakfast at the White Lion. It was a bit busy when we arrived but the staff were welcoming though we only go directions to our room as the lad needed to get back to the bar. The room was lovely, generally well appointed. We met my sister in law and her husband for dinner and the food was tea good, nicely presented and delicious too. A great seasonal menu, too full to have dessert. The bed...

"The property is in need of a refurbishment, particularly the wooden floor. Quiet grubby, cobwebs and generally in need of a deep clean. The marketing pictures do not reflect the condition of the property."
